  1. I live in NE Indiana and the BTN wasn't on comcast its first year. Same sort of deal went on with Comcast and the Big 10 as is going on in Nebraska. The Big 10 wont waver on this.
  2. I'm looking at buying tickets in row c. Does anyone know what the view of the field is like this low or would I be better off buying seats a little higher up?
  3. What part of thr Fort are you in? I'm out southwest.
  4. Correct. We own the rights to any game not picked up by ABC/ESPN or FSN. The money from PPV games in the past were all Nebraskas not one dime went to the big 12. The Big 10 said they would air a few NU games starting this year. PPV may be a thing of the past.
  5. At common law, a liquidated damages clause will not be enforced if its purpose is to punish the wrongdoer/party in breach rather than to compensate the injured party (in which case it is referred to as a penal or penalty clause). One reason for this is that the enforcement of the term would, in effect, require an equitable order of specific performance. However, courts sitting in equity will seek to achieve a fair result and will not enforce a term that will lead to the unjust enrichment of the enforcing party. Link If I'm reading this correctly then bb's new TV deal,if real, would screw texass and the little 9 out of any payment from NU or CU.
  6. The problem with the Colts stadium is that it's small. Like under 70,000.
  7. Billy Liucci of TexAgs.com reports that Mike Slive, SEC Commissioner, is in College Station meeting with A&M officials today.
  8. Maybe we can get Mad Mike as an OC. Bo's D with Leachs O. that would be scary.
  9. I have the opinion that a husker fan should absolutely never boo a husker player. I personally will never boo a husker player. I will however definitely boo the refs, an opposing player (for dirty plays or penalties) and occasionally coaching decisions that dont make a whole lot of sense( punting when we need to go for it). It makes no sense to boo our own players. Why break them down so they dont feel like playing anymore? Do we want our players to give up and never have any hope of coming back to win when were down in the 4th qrtr? Also imagine recruits coming to lincoln hearing 85000 fans booing their own team. how many guys are going to want to come play here knowing that their fans will jump all over them when things arent going perfectly? So instead of booing at bad plays lets make some positive noise for the next play and GBR!
  10. How many TDs? Spread QBs have high percentages on screens and short passes, where are the scores, the points? QBs are supposed to lead the offense to points. Also how many times did he throw it downfield? How many times did he get sacked? If it wasn't Lee's fault who's fault was it then? Your right, my bad. I guess it was lee that had the holding penalities, and he made the dumb a$$ personal foul inside the 10 or couldn't hold a block for more than 3 seconds. We have many problems on offense but they dont start and stop with Lee.
  11. Lee was 72% 8yds per catch. Your going to have to look for someone else to hang this loss on.
  12. Once we get one of those big game changing WRs Watson will decide to run the ball on every down.
  13. If you look at the coaches poll misery was ahead of us in the poll as well. The AP isnt factored in to the BCS so I dont pay much attention to it.
  14. 11-1, I'll wait to see who we play in the B12 ccg.

    Rex

At one point I thought we would be better off rushing 11.
  16. Try living in the eastern time zone.
  17. G Rock, I live in Indiana also, I had to get the NU/VT game on Game Plan. They had the USC/Washington game on ABC and Iowa/Arz. game on ESPN2. So im not real hopeful about the game being on in Hoosierville.
  18. A line from 1-3 is virtually a pickem... There is a big difference between a 3point spread and a pickem.
  19. You betcha! AGP: Always Go Pro Why? Was he the #1 pick over Stafford? Just because he got hurt and OU isn't having a MNC season automatically means he regrets it? He'll come back this year and be just fine and go just as high in the draft. I can't say for sure but im pretty sure his reasons for coming back had something to do with the Heisman and/or MNC.
  20. So does ayone think Bradford is regretting his choice to not go pro?
  21. This is the year to get OU. I think Texass will take them to the woodshed. Who would have thought OU would have 3 losses when they came to town.
  22. Stop. Please, just stop. "The refs stole the game!" Don't blame the refs. Please. They don't take or steal anything from anyone. Short of an official taking a bribe from a team or intentionally blowing calls in favor of one team, refs don't cost anyone anything. So please, just stop. Sorry, but I have to disagree with you! All of us can think of many BAD! calls by refs over the years that have hurt many teams that should have won a game in any sport. Since we are talking about Nebraska, here are a few. 1. How about Texas in 03 (When Pelini was Defensive coach) we wouldn't have won the game. But, there was a catch we clearly made that was ruled incomplete. 2. As shown earlier, the Pen. St. game were the sideline seemed to grow about three feet so the catch that was clearly out of bounds was ruled good? 3. Also the 94 Orange Bowl, (93 season) there were two bad calls. A. the supposed illegal clipping call that no one has been able to ever find that cost us a touchdown. B. The fumble at the One yard line by Florida St. that we recovered and the refs ruled a touchdown for them. So, yes refs are human but they can and do make some extremely bad calls that have hurt many teams in the past. Yes, they make bad calls. But please, stop with the "they stole this" or "we got robbed by the refs". And even a single horrible call is but one play out of more than 100 in a given game. Blaming the refs is petty and childish. Besides, I can think of a few plays to offset the examples you gave where the blown call was in our favor. When that happens, you don't often hear Nebraska fans saying, "Thank God the refs were on our side and stole that game for us." I will fully agree we have had some bad calls that have favored us. Also, I don't believe most ref's do it on purpose so as to cost any one team a game. My only point is that they have cost teams a game in the past do to some very rediculous calls. Thankfully, now we have instant replay to overcome mistakes. By the way, isn't that why we have instant replay, because the NFL or the NCAA or who ever has realized that human error has cost teams games that should have won? You mean like the human error of a guy dropping a pass? The '94 Orange Bowl was lost when a 40-some yard field goal was missed. Nebraska also let FSU drive down the field in the last 2 minutes. The Penn St. game that started this thread was lost when Penn St. scored AFTER the play in the video. How many 3rd downs in that game did Nebraska miss? How many times could they have won without giving the refs a chance to miss a call? Again let me make this perfectly clear: referees do NOT "cost teams games"! I DO NOT DISAGREE WITH YOU! At least on your point that ref's don't do it on purpose. Seems like you are so hell bent on proving your point that you don't actually read my posts. But, all I am saying is that bad calls have costs us and other teams games many times. To deny that is pretty blind, again I don't think it is done on PURPOSE! I agree with you 100%
  23. He does look good in black and gold. In two weeks we get to see how good he looks in BLACK and BLUE.
  24. Good thing the AP poll doesnt matter any more.
