  1. Baylor is going to win the Big 12 South. You heard it hear first folks!
  2. I don't get why every time someone brings up a topic about polls, something along these lines is said. Everyone know we need to win games and focus on the job at hand, yadda yadda yadda. Just answer the freakin' question in the original post. I think we can move up 3 spots give or take, depending on what happens in front of us. well excuse me. oh, and your analysis, "3 spots give or take, depending on what happens in front of us", real insightful... Just answering the question. It's just predictable that every time a thread about polls comes up, there will be 2 or 3 comments about "don't pay attention to polls" blah, blah.

  4. I have been meaning to post this for a while now. I cruised through this whole thread start to finish to see if anyone else had posted this. I'm glad I did so I didn't make a redundant post. As it is you get a +1 for being a super genius like Wile E. Coyote. I've been thinking about this tennis ball thing for a while now, ever since Niles started his dropsies. It's such an easy drill to set up, I can't imagine why we aren't doing this. Haha, I came on here to see if anyone said anything to what I said about tennis balls... to find nobody did, and then it was mentioned again and someone replied to that one...
  5. A wr coach being held responsible because his wrs drop balls all over the place? Nah.....just blame the players. It worked for Coz, Callahan, Bohl, etc... Alright...your receiver just dropped a pass that hit him squarely in the hands and there was no one within 10 yards of him. Go coach him up. What would you do? The receivers were in the right place constantly throughout the game. The routes were run pretty well. Blocking from them has been pretty good. The receiver has to catch the ball...that's on him. There's only so much a coach can do in that situation. I'd agree, it's on the coaches if the receivers are out there every week dropping numerous balls, but that's really not happening. You do whatever it takes in practice for your receivers to catch the damn ball. I know there are coaches that have players catching freaking tennis balls to get them receiving better. Whatever it takes. Which Gilmore doesn't seem to have apparently.
  6. Hell I'd be all for wearing the throwbacks (a la 300th sellout) every game. Those were frickin' sweet. I'm a big fan of traditional looking uniforms, but at the same time, a little tweak here and there isn't going to hurt. As long as they never add piping. Good lord does that look tacky.
  7. Ready for a Bevo steak!

  8. White Russians (with homemade Kahlua). Nothing like kicking back, watching the Huskers kick ass, sipping a nice White Russian. Bliss.
  9. Anyone catch that the girl sang "the girls are the greatest". Jeez, sing it right!
  10. Wish I had the time to do up a "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" one.
  11. I wonder if there is a record for most fumbles by a wide receiver at Nebraska. If there is, I wonder how far away Niles is from Terrence Nunn's record.
  12. Didn't they say during the Washington game that his mom is Samoan and it's Samoan tribal art in tribute to her?
  13. I've been working on getting a story/segment on one of our shows, since I went to high school with Shari, and it's definitely a great cause. Looking forward to seeing what differences Husker Hope can make.
  14. i agree with a lot of what you said... i have done many wrong things on the board so i am no angel to but to full on put lee on blast and totally thrown him under the push i think is flagerant and pretty irresponsible for husker fans.. the guy did his best... and worked last year with an injury.. .if not for a couple of plays we might have been in a BCS game and had a one loss season.... SOO lots of things play into other things and nothing is for sure... but you dont just piss away a guy who came in tried his best.. was treated like a god one weak and then shiet the next.... just lousy...... do i agree with lee not startting?? hell i'm not a coach i dont know.. do i agree with T-Mart starting i dont know... but i'd pick either one ahead of green... as of right now Im not trying to throw Zac Lee under the bus by any means. I am truly thankful for him giving everything he has in practice and leading the team last year. If my posts come across as throwing him under the bus then I apologize to Zac Lee. However, as a fan I can voice my opinion about who I think is the better player and who I would like to see leading the team. As a competitor you should know what youre getting yourself into by playing big time D-1 college football. I think it is ridiculous how a select few people on here will chastise you and completely rip you if they dont agree with your opinion, this is all I have been trying to convey. I know exactly what you mean. The funny thing is, Martinez isn't supposed to be the better passer, but he was way more accurate than Lee tonight.
  15. Post it! Haha, we haven't even aired it yet. It'll be on the noon show tomorrow though (NTV in Kearney). EDIT: Check that, it'll be on Good Morning Nebraska on Friday.
  16. Tell me about it. We recorded a satellite interview with Lou Holtz today, and he said Nebraska has a great chance to win the Pac 12.
