Chester Taylor is a backup guy to give forte a rest. Peppers is a good get, but lets not joke here Cutler was horrid this year. I think Packers win the North with the Vikings winning the wild card(if favre is back) and Bears missing the playoffs with a 10-6 record.

Honestly thats your own personal opinion. I went to the womens game only. Partly because of scheduling, but also because its a team that wins. Dont give me the team winning doenst matter. Saying that mens nebraska basketball is exciting, cough, thats very hit and miss. I love watching the men, but I also am to the point where I'd rather not show up to watch what most expect will be another ass whooping, which it almost always is.Especially when I can save 20 bucks and watch them on TV. Tonight was probably one of the loudest times ive heard Devaney this year, and it was for women. I definitely agree about supporting the men, but its to the point where I think most people would rather sacrifice the intensity that you get in a mens game, from a terrible team, to a girls game where every game is winnable and your top 3 in the nation. Girls games are more fun then guys games. Why is that?? because of the product out on the floor. If the guys are better then the girls, they get bigger crowds. If Doc doesnt like taht he isnt getting support from fans, take a look at the product u put out there.. I hate to say it, but the B-ball team has not earned what the football team has. When Football team is not good, people still show up. I think Guys will be better next year, and the girls will be worse, much worse.

Ubel>Diaz in toughness. I agree about the student section being horrid. I ama student, bought season tickets and simply havent had time to go.. and i am lazy.. ill admit it. This was only my second game i went to and i am ashamed with myself and other students. We need to pack that house and support this team. I will be there tonight and i hope we get something special out of the seniors.

I went to the womens game last week, then went back for the lincoln stars and was lucky enough to hav eno problems really.. took a little while to get in and out but that is to be expected with one main entry and exit.. poor planning.. NEW ARENA WILLL FIX THIS

Most UNL students know Noah. He shows up in a dress shirt and tie and that hard hat. Seems like an alright kid, and happy to see him succeed. Not to be rude, but i believe he has a disability, but that doesnt seem to slow him down one bit.

Agreed, that was easily the most fun i have ever had at a game. I had a perfect view, and you could see the crowd movement was hectic, huging, high fiving, jumping up and down. A picture i will never be able to erase from my memory.

I thought Doc was the answer, but his offensive set is horrid. We have no guys that can just flat out score. If we had a guy like that, our Def is good enough that we might be competitve.. When Ryan Anderson is scoring your most points, you know something is wrong.. I miss Ade, he was a scorer and could always be counted on.

First, I am not belittling what you pay in tuition, but there is a misconception where the money goes when it comes time for you to write that check. Your tuition goes to pay for your education, professors salaries, and administration costs along with a few other things. None of the tuition money you pay goes to the athletic department. Our athletic department is one of the few in the nation that is totally self sufficient. It doesn't rely on tax dollars or tuition money of any kind for its day-to-day operations and upkeep. It is only through donations, season tickets, gate sales, and revenue sharing of TV contracts through the conference which funds the whole operation. I understand this, i was just simply defending UNL students because you make it sound like without the Rich@$$ alumni, we wouldnt have a chance to learn. I understaand they help with things, but its not like im learning for free. The athletic department doesnt fully need a new B-ball arena, but it sure would be nice and help with recruiting. Will it guarantee us 5 stars...NO! but it sure wont hurt in the recruiting porcess. The pershing is out of date, and needs to bereplaced. Why not take out 2 birds with 1 stone
