This is what I absolutely love about the walkon program and I couldn't agree more. If it were my job to evaluate future NFL talent for a recruiting website (edit), which it isn't, I would assume that the teams sending the most people to the NFL and winning in CFB have the best players, making my job a lot easier.

I think SC said that Nebraska has the 5th largest fan base on rivals. They will pay attention to someone once they get on our radar, but I agree, I do think these areas are underserved as far as ratings go.

There's some truth to it. Who wants to send someone all the way up to Wisconsin to evaluate a 3 star o lineman that is done camping and has been a commit to the badgers for a year? That doesn't generate any clicks or revenue. Better to just stay in the south where the battles for the speed are. You hit way more fan bases at once that way. EDIT: I don't want to claim it always happens. I think they have two top 100 OL in their next class. I wonder if they will drop in rankings like Turner did.
