  1. He's always composed in the games against sub-par opponents, it's just when you get somewhat challenging opponents that he takes a big crap on the field. That's why even if he does well today, I won't be impressed. I thought he looked great in every sunbelt game. But that doesn't translate into actual talent.
  2. Yay! Lee can beat up on defenses from Iowa State, the Sun Belt, and Baylor too! He's awesome

  4. And Robinson looks like a very proficient running back. I guess it was worth burning his red shirt.
  5. That was my thought too, did they learn nothing last week??? ARGH. How many times do we have to eff those up before Watson realizes they don't work?
  6. Let's not forget....our offense looks so-so against IOWA STATE. Not OU.
  7. Too bad it was Helu that fumbled and not Lee. Then we'd get to see Green right away....
  8. I agree. Since I think he'll be the starter by the end of the year, it will be interesting to see if the pressure gets to him. During the press conference yesterday he seemed very at ease, willing to elaborate more than Lee on any of the questions and even made a couple jokes. He's the same way on the field thus far, more comfortable, more willing to improvise. BUT - it's always easier to be the understudy. Once we bench Lee, he's not gonna start again so we better make darn sure that Green is actually ready.
  9. Don't worry, I got your back. I'll start threads for Taylor Martinez or LaTravis Washington to start because Green is a bust. now would you please stop that gay talk, angryhuskers is afraid and admin please remove that dacing corn looks effing gay and while you are at it, I think the green one is got sexual thoughts while kicking look at the lustful tongue sticking out and this on reminds me of the village people, that is a no go
  10. To each his own guys. Personally, I think silence from the crowd is just as good as booing. The players hear that loud and clear too. But, who am I to tell someone else what to do? Weren't some of you guys complaining that too many people keep you from standing at the games and showing your support? You don't want people telling you what to do and neither does anyone else...
  11. Can we do any worse than we're doing now? We don't even score touchdowns in the first half...
  12. EXACTLY! I mean, isn't our TE position supposed to have playmakers? Yet, we barely throw it that direction. Our wide receivers have blocks of concrete for hands, our running backs are either injured or sub-par...process of elimination says give the tight end a shot. Or four. Or however many it takes to score a touchdown in the first half....
  13. We can't do that! His good looks and white smile are the only thing he's adding to the team!
  14. Don't say that, these people will bite your head off for such a ridiculous statement . I would never say that I agree. Oh...whoops.
  15. As fun as it is to imagine Suh knocking a guy off the line or running up the middle for 5 yards, it's not feasible. Even with incredible stamina, you'd see a more winded "House of Spears" lining up on the defensive side. I'd rather have 100% of him on defense. Our offensive players need to step up, plain and simple, that's what they're on scholarship to do.
  16. 1. Get 5+ sacks 2. Cody Green starts and learns a lot in a short time 3. Offensive line becomes a wall of death (these don't have to be realistic goals, right?)
  17. There's always Suh for quarterback He has scored touchdowns, why not throw for them
  18. Well, there's getting old and then there's being 2-3 years away from Nursing Home status. No one is saying there should be an age limit but I believe the majority of people realize it's something that is active and not passive. As others have pointed out, if you aren't going to participate...why not just watch at home? I see what you're saying and I'm not advocating a passive nursing-home-only crowd. From my experience, the beauty of Nebraska football is the tradition that goes waaaay back. These people may have been rooting for the 'skers longer than I've been alive and I've got to respect that. That's tradition and that's what separates our fans from other teams. I'm glad we have young people like me to cheer my lungs out and do the wave, but I'm actually glad to see the 89 year old that sits down from me four seats. He yells as loud as he can. GBR!
  19. Yeah! Kick out all the fans over 55! They're ruining our fun with their rickety bones! Football isn't for the blue hairs and they're definitely not intimidating the opposing side with their false teeth and canes! I'm glad none of us will ever get old!!! <----if you couldn't tell For the record: I'm 24 so I guess I can still go to the games!
  20. We're going to need to establish a ground game to take some pressure off of Lee or Green. Look for Helu and, and I'm thinking Robinson, to get some good touches. It's obvious they want to play Robinson, having burned his redshirt and getting him on the field already. Even more so because none of the other guys at that position really stepped up and broke a big run. Also, I have a feeling Lee and Green may share time. The defense will hold strong and get us a "W," but I think we need to stay focused on offense for this to be a sure deal. We can't expect our D to stay out on the field for large chunks of time without rest and be as effective.
  21. well apparently this team needs a wake up call every other week. That means we win next week right? But that theory means that then we lose to Baylor.
  22. I couldn't agree more, because if he goes now who is going to call the plays? Bo? x2.
