  1. i guess i would be a little butt hurt too if my team just melted down like that.... Okay, so Bo is a vampire and somebody wants to undress Taylor and make love to him at the end of that video. Holy cow, I have to say that whole interaction on that video was kind of strange. Other than that though, I think Nebraska won a great game yesterday.. One of the greatest comebacks in school history I believe. From the sound of you negative nancy's though, you can't even tell it.
  2. Burkhead at FB was killer. He hits the gaps quick and his natural ability makes a short gain into a 5 or 6 yarder easy. Then the fact that Aaron Green and Abdullah are on the field too.....it just makes the defense have to think about all kinds of things. I'm loving it. I think it will develop into a big part of our game. Of course, Martinez always has the option of keeping it as well. Which as we have all seen, can really pay huge dividends. Burkhead, Martinez, Abdullah and Green all in the backfield at the same time.........Yep, sounds like a winner to me.
  3. Hell yes! Linebacker of the year so far in my humble but outspoken loudmouth opinion.
  4. HeLL YES!!!!!!! That right there is BO f'ing' Pelini Biatches......and if you don't like it, then you can get the Fark out! I love this guy. I hope you stay around for a long damn time Bo! Much respect.
  5. It's not an excuse. It's just the truth son.
  6. Then where are the blitz callings? Our front 4 isn't getting it done! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that running QB's OWN us. You contradict yourself in your above statement. You say that they are great coaches yet you also say that they are still trying to find the right guys for the job. Wouldn't you think since they are stellar coaches that they would have found those said players BEFORE the season started? I understand if it was due to injuries but in this case it's not. I guess you don't see our DB's being out of place and not looking back towards the ball when it's in the air. If you do, then I must be watching a different game then you. Yep, you clearly must be watching a different game then. The team I'm watching looks like they just lost Prince Amukamara, Dejon Gomes, and Eric Hagg to the NFL draft last year, and has a new secondary coach to boot.
  7. Might I add.......that is one troll lookin' SOB. Damn dude, with all your money, get your f'ing' face fixed!
  8. Ugh.....haven't you embarrassed yourself enough Beebe? Good lord. Nebraska was against revenue sharing? That's why we joined the B1G Ten?
  9. Burkhead, Martinez and Enunwa on offense. ( Enunwa had a great catch, but that kid blocks like a beast) Lavonte and Jean-Baptiste, on Defense. Helluvagame.
  10. I call bullsh#t with this thread title. Cosgrove never even had guys in the position to make plays! We have guys there under Pelini. We are in position to make plays. We just have to get guys to tackle better and make plays on the ball in the secondary. This is not a coaching problem so much as just the fact that we have a lot of inexperience, youth, and some guys who are just not as talented as what we have had in the past. We will develop depth, young guys will get better, and more experience will pay off. It's amazing how quickly some people jump ship on the Pelini's. These guys have coached top ranked defenses in the country ever since they got here. They are dealing with the above mentioned things right now, and are trying to find the right guys for the job. It's a work in progress, but in no f'ing' way does it resemble Cosgrove's crap. Tackling would help this team immensely, and unfortunately Bo can't go out there and do it for these guys. These players have got to do it.
  11. Lavonte David is the best LB'er in the country. Stanley Jean-Baptiste needs to be on the field. Martinez may "shock the world" after all. Burkhead is everything we all think he is and then some. Great things that guy does on and off the field.
  12. Hell yes Martinez. I got to admit, I had my doubts, but last night certainly showed there is some real upside to this young man. Plenty of room to get better, but damn good job! I'm juiced up after this one. The play calling was excellent for Martinez's skill set. He made some good throws. He missed a few big ones but the best thing was when the route downfield weren't coming open, he hit the main man Burkhead on the edge and BAM the man went for 6 on one of them. Hell of a game.
  13. As far as the "booing" goes.......there isn't a stadium in this country that doesn't have boo birds in it. So what........you should be cheering loud enough that those boos are drowned out anyway. If you can hear them then that's your f'ing' problem. Get louder and quit your bitchin'. This is football. This game is for men, Not whiny pussies. This team doesn't need to be babied and neither do the f'ing' fans who sit on their hands and want to act all "respectable like".
  14. Geez......on TV the environment sounded pretty kick ass. No, not even comparable to Madison Wisconsin. I mean, those Badger fans know how it's done. But still, Nebraska had it going pretty good last night except for the 2nd quarter. You can really see how this team rallies when the crowd is rallying behind them though. This team becomes an entirely different beast. I don't know what happens but something goes off in these guys heads, the crowd is juiced, and it just starts happening for them. Awesome job by the team and the fans last night. That game was everything we needed and then some. I'm f'ing' pumped up, and I hope this team feels renewed too.
  15. Damn, that prayer was rolling perfect for a minute there. Good job guys!
  16. I fricking hate that song. X The biggest number known to man. X the biggest number known to man X 2 Music these days is about like listening to an ass BIG RED IS GONNA GIT ER' DONE TONIGHT BOYS! GGGOOOOOOOOOOOOO BBBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Any day without Musberger, is a damn good day.
  18. If you aren't off your ass tomorrow cheering loudly for this team.....well then, what the hell are you doing there? Let's Go Boys!
  19. One hell of a game tomorrow. Big one for the program....first home game in the Big Ten. Let's start this the right way. GOOOOO BIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGG RRRAAAAAAYYUUUUDDDD!
  20. This true Husker fan crap really gets that Holier Than Thou mentality going, which seems to be a very very common theme on this website. We all want the same damn thing. We just want to win. The fans, the players, and now the coaches are all sitting around pointing fingers. Well I point the thumb.......and I want this team to win. So git er' done.
  21. Pelini said harsh fan criticism of Martinez is a "shame." "The same people who sit out in our stadium on their hands and don't cheer are the same people who sit back and criticize our quarterback -- a kid who's out there busting his butt and putting up good numbers," Pelini said. I think everyone needs to take a deep breath. No point in attacking Martinez. He is clearly the man, and has the support of many. Most importantly though he has the support of his fellow players and his coaches. Or at least, they are definitely trying to make it appear so. No point in Bo slamming the fan base again either. Somehow the most negative fans get the entire fan base "labeled" as pessimists or outright a$$hole$. Lord knows. I've made some harsh judgments usually fueled by a beer or six, but still, I do have these guys' backs when it really comes down to it. I would say 90 percent of the Husker fan base does. Bo needs to quit passing his judgment on the entire fan base with these comments, when really the only thing he's basing his perception on is the outspoken few.
  22. My favorite is the upper sections of the east stadium. Sections 105 and such. South Endzone is great really no matter where you sit as long as it's not in the far corners. The only seats I really would probably not sit in again is the ones I got once under the balcony of the east stadium. The overhang kind of takes you out of the environment, and there are pillars that obstruct part of the view depending on where the team is at the time.
  23. Row 98 in the south endzone is actually a pretty awesome seat in my opinion. Section 16B row 98 I think it was.
  24. Whoa! Calm down man. I told you I didn't want this to get personal. Mainly because I don't know you and you don' t know me. I just thought for being such a level headed Husker fan, you sure went overboard with the negative comments about Dillard that 's all. I know the kid had some family trouble going on while he was here and it took away from his focus a bit. But I thought he got things turned around and ended his career in a good way. I hope Martinez can get his focus back and end his in the same way. In the words of the legendary Hulk Hogan......Chill Out Brother!
  25. For all the times you've asked everyone to lay off a kid, he is a Husker, and we should stand by him.....well it seems you threw that out the window with your comments on Dillard. Is it something personal between you and Martinez...or did Dillard piss in your cereal one morning? What?
