  1. i hate him, where's the fire bo thread??? are u kidding? useless thread...everyone loves him!!!!
  2. there was an article from his home town that said he picked NU a month or so ago, but he failed to inform the coaches before kenny bell did so his spot was lost. too bad, i like his size and speed. maybe the coaching staff can swoop him up in the future if he goes the juco route
  3. lets hope he's right (fingers tightly crossed)
  4. i love unselfish players!!! good for latravis, best trait in a player is one who puts his/her team first
  5. I agree, everyone at my work always rags on NU and all i ever say is kickoff classic of 93' 33-0!!! LOVE IT
  6. me too, i was at that game and he was outstanding. too bad him and castille liked the "puff puff give" But...i'm glad that he got to keep playing AC.
  7. ranking and attitude. glad he's out of the picture, seems like a "me guy" and not a team player. hence the horrible record his team produced this year...
  8. hey landlord or anyone that is good with graphics. i was wondering if you could design a sig with a nebraska and marshall theme to go with my user name "herd husker". i was thinking of randy moss in a marshall uniform and niles paul in a nebraska uniform. thanks and send me a message if anyone is willing to do this.
  9. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! but i dont know who else would wanna coach at NU????
  10. huskers illustrated just posted a teaser about his in-home visit with marvin sanders. does anyone know what was said???
  11. i'll go with lavonte david or eric martin to replace dillard. those two will be competing to replace him, may the more hungery man win! pj smith to replace asante is a strong second for me.
  12. I have a feeling "in the hunt" just means he's getting mail from these schools, because he still doesn't have any division 1 scholarship offers. From the article: "In the same breath, though, he said, Kansas plans to send offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Chuck Long to Omaha today to meet Marsh." So Kansas is doing more than just sending letters...
  13. read an article from the omaha world herald that said, kansas, oregon, and ohio are now in the hunt for him... link: http://www.omaha.com/article/20100119/BIGRED/701199817
  14. let's hope marv brings his A game and finally reels in Cooper!!!
  15. new teaser on rivals about his visit at florida st. anyone have any info???
  16. 3 words: preferred walk on, carnes or no carnes.
  17. apparently it doenst mean much to the UCF people..... thought we might have had this one wrapped up I knew that it was going to be a tough task to get him out of the state of Florida. If USF had drug their coaching hire out a couple weeks longer I would have liked our chances. But since they hired one right away (and a good one) he was more likely to stay in state. yahoo/rivals has this about most of the staff being let go at USF. Not sure if Carnes was close to any of these coaches. News Flash: USF hires Snyder By Tom Dienhart, Yahoo! Sports 1 hour, 5 minutes ago Buzz up! Print Mark Snyder has been hired as the defensive coordinator at South Florida, Rivals.com has learned. Snyder spent the past five years as the head coach at Marshall, compiling a 22-37 record. He resigned at the end of the regular season despite guiding the Thundering Herd to a bowl bid. More From Tom Dienhart News Flash: FIU tabs coordinators Jan 16, 2010 Snyder also has been defensive coordinator at Ohio State (2001-04), running a defense that helped the Buckeyes win the 2002 national title. Snyder previously served on staffs at Minnesota (1996-2000) and Youngstown State (1991-1995). New Bulls coach Skip Holtz continues to shape his staff, according to the St. Petersburg Times. He has opted to let go of offensive coordinator Mike Canales, defensive coordinator Joe Tresey, offensive line coach Mike Simmonds, linebackers coach David Blackwell and special teams coach John Hendrick. Holtz will keep defensive line coach Kevin Patrick and tight ends coach Larry Scott. Golden staying at Temple Temple’s Al Golden is not a candidate for the East Carolina job. Golden led the Owls to a 9-4 record and their first bowl since 1979. His name has been mentioned in various job openings this offseason. But Golden is committed to returning to Temple for his fifth season. ECU eyes Broadway East Carolina has asked Grambling for permission to talk to coach Rod Broadway. The North Carolina native has been Grambling’s coach the past three seasons. Broadway was an ECU assistant from 1979-80. He also was head coach at North Carolina Central and served on staffs at North Carolina, Florida and Duke. wow this hurts usf...i went to marshall during the snyder era and we never even sniffed a bowl game until this year. snyder is horrible when the game is on the line. but on the other hand he was pretty good as a d-coordinater at ohio st. as a marshall alum i wish him the best of luck at usf.
  18. that looks like some good proof, he may be better off at CU
  19. has anyone heard how his visit went???
  20. pederson and cosgrove were the problem...callahan would have kept his job here IF he would have fired Cosgrove. but things have changed for the better.
  21. yep, but you already knew that haha. who's got a herd on??? i've got a herd on!!!
