prince at RB...have anybody seen his HS film?...tre robinson, okafor, or some of the safeties at LB to ultilize their speed and athlethic ability....just like in the 90's...speed speed...beef up some of the DEs and move them inside to tackle..hopefully keeping some of their speed...SPEEEEEEEED!!!!!

2011 recruit...long ways to go yet

looked pretty good in limited playing time...seems to get a better push than allen or turner..doesn't get tied up in blocks...has a good burst to the ball and can chase people down from behind...gonna be a good one i think

nothing wrong with signing juco players as long as they're impact players...just don't want to sign too many year in year out...some of the best players come from the juco..

all i know is watson needs to get his head outta his a$$...he was a left over from the callahan regime so that means that he's already had 4-5 years to recruit "his" players...so none of this- he needs time to bring his players in bullcrap excuse...you can look across the country and find many many teams with much less talent than nu and they still produce offensively....two words that best describe watson's offense: predictable and unimaginative... no wonder they can't move the ball. the opposition already knows its coming...wish SW and the WCO was gone..

i'm sick and tired of watson making it sound like everything is so complicated..and his unwillingness to try new things..always playing scared...how complicated is it for a RB to take direct snap and find a running lane to run thru?....

they sure look more comfortable in it than the base 4-3 defense...not just the texas game but most of the season too...with all the spread teams in the big12 they didn't have to play out of the base 4-3 that much...i like it though...it puts our best and most athletic players on the field at the same time..and it shows

can't win either if the offense don't score any point..watson better get his s##t together....

Watson needs to go and Cotton with him. Been silent all season biting the tounge. What has the offense has shown this season? Play calling and talent have been benched all year. There is no amount of rationalizing the horrible scripting of plays, the lack of schemes to create mis matches with athleticsm is completely absent since the first 3 games. If you believe we have not had many player mismatches that are simply not schemed, your not watching close enough. This Coordinator does not work up to the standards set by the defense, we have the talent but its riding the pine....hidden behind a mediocre offensive mind, that has shown the ability to scheme to lose. Yes scheme to lose....... Bring in Mangino....or someone who is is not from the callahan school of the bought and paid for. Scott Frost would make an excellent position coach and you know he would not go against team goals. right on..

defense will only get better in the future...watch out big 12...now if we can only find a new OC....WATSON's gotta go

despite the loss, nu's defense played great tonight..lights out..big 12 teams should take notice...this is only the beginning...the foundation has been laid- defensively....we'll only get faster and more athlethic

it was just painful watching nu's offense this season..especially last night...i mean, any guy off the street coulda' call that game last night...i'd thought there be more misdirection plays called or a little more trickery...i'm tired of people sayin were not that talented on offense..maybe they're not all 5 star players but c'mon we're nebraska...we should be better than that on offense... it's not like we're some small division 2 school with no talent whatsoever...it's the offensive philosophy and the playcalling.. there's just no creativity and that's watson's job...our players are not put in the position to succeed...you give a school like cinncinatti our players on offense and they would be fine...WATSON HAS GOT TO GO

the problem with watson is lack of creativity...you can still play it safe and call a more creative game plan than that...sure we don't have florida's talent on offense but it's not like we're a division 2 team or anything...we're not putting our players in a position to succeed and that starts with the playcalling from watson...he's gotta go!

wish i could be as optimistic...let me see...we have 4-5 plays on offense that we run and we're predictable as hell...no imagination on offense...we don't throw the ball downfield enough to challenge the secondary...everything we do is dink and dunk 3-5 yards....watson will have the offense playing "not to lose" rather than playing to win.. seriously i just don't see us moving the ball on texas unless watson mixes it up a little bit more..i think the defense will play ok but how long can they hold up when the offense don't do anything cause you texas WILL score sooner or later.
