  1. I want tOSU too. That game was less of an "escape" than people will have you believe. The second half was really what the whole game should've been. tOSU is a game we could win again.
  2. I took a quick look into this... Nebraska vs. Duke - 2002-current season, excluding 2004 as I couldn't find any rankings for Duke's opponents that year Nebraska against ranked opponents: Games played: 32 Avg. Opponent rank: 11.656 Record: 9-23 Points for: 650 Points against: 919 Avg. Point differential: -8.406 Duke against ranked opponents Games played: 22 Avg. Opponent rank: 13.909 Record: 0-22 Points for: 279 Points against: 919 Avg. Point differential: -29.091 Please consider what you're saying before you spam the forum with such nonsense.
  3. I hate how MSU can have the excuse of just not showing up when they get manhandled, but when it happens to Nebraska, it's a "told you so!" reaction. If much of the media wasn't trying to prove that we aren't worthy, maybe we wouldn't have that. Agreed. Luckily, both Oregon and Stanford are highly overrated teams we could beat fairly handily. Another game that will look much tougher than it is.
  4. The type of complete game we should have had against Wiscy. Our last 144 minutes of football have been awesome. We seem to have something going here and I think we can carry it through the end of the year.
  5. We make Wisconsin look godly. I want to see them get smashed by a real football team like LSU or Bama.
  6. So I'm not alone in feeling he is of the douche variety?
  7. Thats not even clever, its just mean. Gotta hand it to them though, they are organized.
  8. That's what I say in the video. The throws the OP pointed out may have been a few good ones out of the bunch (still not THAT good), but he appears to be just as poor with his mechanics, not really getting any worse or better.
  9. I've sat in student sections at Mizzou, CU, KU, K-State, Iowa State, and at OU. I've had fun at everyone of those venues. At the risk of sounding like a douche.... people don't eff with me. I'm not tough, i'm not a fighter. In fact, I'm a wuss. However, I'm 6'5 220 and very loud. Students, even drunken students don't mess with guys like me. I wouldn't be worried about sitting in the Wisconsin student section. I won;t get any shiite. Should've probably stopped there... Whereas you should've stopped at the "sign up" page......
  10. We've heard this so many times it's laughable, and from much, much faster teams. You might have some speed, but don't kid yourself, you won't be faster than Miami, or Ohio State, or TCU. Miami hasn't done anything with their speed, Ohio State is not exactly blazing, and the fact that you think TCU is a "much, much faster" team is what is laughable. Please, a couple good seasons in a nobody conference and a bowl win over an overhyped B1G school that clearly came out flat does not get you the best athletes in the country. Right... I forgot some Nebraska fans live in alternate realities constructed in their delusional minds. Miami is always fast because they get the fastest kids out of Northwestern High School and such. Here's a video for you, where I think speed is being utilized. Same goes for OSU, elite prospects usually come with great speed. And to say TCU's defense last year wasn't faster than this NU squad is absolutely preposterous. Hell, that was the dominating story line: speed vs. power. And I take issue with being labeled as "over-hyped" going into the Rose Bowl or coming out flat. sh#t did you watch the game. Both teams scored on the first four possessions, making it the highest scoring first quarter in Rose Bowl history. We didn't execute during crucial points in the game down the line, but we didn't fall flat on our faces, like say, only scoring 7 points against Washington in the Holiday Bowl. I meant that Miami hasn't won with their speed. That isn't a good football team. Nebraska, on the other hand, is good AND fast. I apologize for saying that you were overhyped and came out flat. I should've said that you were overhyped OR came out flat. Either you weren't as good as everyone said or you came out and played down to a team like TCU. I don't care how many games they won, they were an above average squad at best. May I remind you that we put up 7 points against Washington with a one-legged quarterback? Also, our offensive coordinator was fired after the season because he was a terrible play caller, which was evident in the Holiday Bowl. What was your excuse, Bucky? Why even make excuses? I still think we were the more-talented team, but they just flat-out beat us that day. No shame in that. Wasn't aimed at you. You've been respectful. I just had to explain some things to our dear friend, Bromontana, as it appears he is the one living in an alternate reality constructed in his delusional mind.

  13. CBS has it on there. It's much like Yahoo's
  14. Every state? Michigan vs Michigan State must be terrible for the state's self-esteem then. Oh no, I meant Wisconsin makes one of those shirts for every team in the Big Ten. I figured, I just wanted to make the joke.

  16. We LOST that game at the 2:18 mark. That's the 1992 game at Ames. Iowa State 19, Huskers 10 HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!! IT MUST BE TRUE THEN!!! I'd take a loss this year in exchange for a 62-4 run including three national championships (should've been a fourth).
  17. POW! Watch out for Bret Bielema in international waters......
  18. She could go Sinead and would still be hot. Yeah except that she looks like a little boy.......but maybe you're into that?
  19. Wisconsin fans doubting their team? This is preposterous! Wisconsin is godly! Just ask this forum.
  20. What's this drinking game? http://www.fanblogs.com/ncaa/005660.php See rule #9
  21. I know, I gave up trying to be serious and started trolling. Gave up trolling and started making jokes. Gave up that because I thought the thread would die. I have no idea what my course of action should be now. 1. Be serious 2. Troll 3. Joke 4. Assume thread will die You could try: 5. Be serious again 6. Be overly serious 7. Be dramatic 8. Be melodramatic 9. Troll some more And that should take you to Saturday, at which point hopefully the thread will have died.
