  1. Look at the top of the thread; people were calling for her head after one bad season and one player transfer. This year, they're an at-large team in the tournament.
  2. I'll add Goodfellas and The Good, The Bad and the Ugly to my list.
  3. My mind was blown when we saw actual rotation and defensive adjustments against Wisconsin.
  4. Hindsight being 20/20, it's really easy to call people out, but it seems Williams has more than made up for both last year and Shepard leaving the program.
  5. Sharp and Benning were talking about this this morning; it might be an effect of the early signing period: you've got a majority of your class in the fold, and can afford to keep you staff together for your bigger prospects, instead of spreading them thin trying to keep your commits in the fold at the current moment.
  6. That was the original Prince demo for "I Will Die 4 U".
  7. You're right; in terms of picking the field, he's very good. Some of his seedings are questionable, though. For instance, he's got Kansas as a #1 right now.
  8. According to the Bracket Matrix, over the last 5 years, he's ranked 40th. http://bracketmatrix.com/rankings.html
  9. This is the exact thing I've been harping all week on Twitter about; with Nebraska's resume, they need to win as many games as possible, as impressively as possible, to leave as little doubte as possible.
  10. To be fair, Lunardi isn't very good at bracketology, despite it being his only job.
  11. Time Travel is an iffy one for me because of the Butterfly Effect.
  12. Garrett is the new Tanner is the new Zack is the new Taylor is the new Tommy.
  13. Are all these QB offers any indication of where the staff feels like they are with Duggan? Or is he not as big of a priority for Frost as he was for Riley?
  14. Had it not been released the week before (let alone the same year as) Breath of the Wild, it would have been Game of the Year last year.
  15. Yea, I honestly thought this thread was done.
  16. They still had a comparable RPI, better SOS, and better quality wins. What about Washington in 2012? Finished with 24 wins overall, won the Pac-12 at 14-4, had an RPI of 54 (comparable) and a SOS of 63, and yet, they lost in the 2nd round of their conference tournament and go left clean out of the Dance. Now, Nebraska has a better win this year (on paper), but the precedent is there to leave a team with Nebraska's resume out.
  17. Also, WTF is Joe Lunardi on? He's got Kansas as a 1 seed.
  18. I'd look to 2010/2011 Virginia Tech as a good example: they won 22 games in a better conference, had an RPI of 65, SOS of 69 and beat #1 Duke.....and got left out. Nebraska needs as many wins as it can muster; just pull a Jake Taylor.
  19. If they had beaten Kansas or Creighton, yes. Since they didn't, going 5-1 is the minimum of what they have to do.
