  1. I still follow my Bulls but the NBA has changed for me. Just not as exciting as it used to be. I still enjoy going to games but for all the amazing scorers the league has right now something's a miss for me. With the season they've had wonder if Golden St. can pull it off.
  2. LINK Myself, beer is easily the more destructive of the two. Having been a hard user of both in my younger age. Another alcohol propaganda coutesy of Budweiser, Coors, Miller, etc. I didn't understand why not banned TV commercials .... equivalent to cigarette ads. Awesome.

I'm pretty sure it's the Eagles' mission to have the worst offseason in the history of the NFL.

Makes sense, trade your pretty good QB for a constantly injured QB and then sign the worst QB available to back him up. Perfectly logical

Tebow will probably get released before the regular season starts. With all of the domestic charges, dui and drug busts the league has seen within the past few years it's nice to see a guy like Tebow back even if only for a short while. I actually didn't like him when he was at Florida until I learned about what type of guy he really was and that he was/is a thousand times tougher on the field than I realized. Don't worry non Tebow fans. It probably won't last long.

  3. Sounds like those would make for some pretty cool frameable pictures for someone's game room. Not sure if there worth anything but pretty cool all the same.
  4. Hard to believe it's been 20 years since the Oklahoma City bombing. RIP.

  5. I'm actually being serious here when I ask you what is your definition of good? We haven't had a conference championship since 1999 and have been ending the season barely making the top 25 the past several years and didn't even make it last year. Despite the fall I still love rooting for my Huskers. All of the teams.
  6. Do you do speed tests to see if there is a problem? Also you could check where your router is in relation to your television. Not sure how old your router is also. If you running speed tests and not getting the dl speed you're supposed to maybe replace your router. I noticed one of my smart tv's doesn't get full bars while my laptop and other tv do so last resort it might be the tv but I'm thinking it's a router issue of some sort.
  7. Did much better in his 2nd game. He got on base 5 times. Went 2-for-3 with a pair of singles, an RBI and three walks. His RBI single tied it in the 5th and the Cubs went on to win in extra innings.
  8. For being a backup QB Maliek Zaire looks like he could easily be a starter.
  9. Oh Britt. You have the world's attention now. Probably what she thinks anyway. ESPN Reporter Britt McHenry Has A History Of Being Rude As Hell
  10. Trap plays for Cross, yep. He's kind of a one trick pony in that regard and has shown he can take the quick hitter to the house on occassion as he does have some decent speed. Unfortunately neither NU under Pelini or Riley has a history of running trap much at all What we did see a little of was some H back WHam style plays that might kinda resemble trap a little Pro Style teams have run a little of that: http://www.onefootdown.com/2014/12/18/7413461/ofd-films-lsu-tigers-offensive-preview-notre-dame-lsu-football-analysis-music-city-bowl-2014 Bring back the trap! Bring back the fullback while they're at it! Pro style, what the heck... Oh yeah, TEs, Riley was supposed to be big on TEs. Were TEs thrown to in the spring game?Yes. The fullback was even thrown to in the spring game. Not sure if it means much going forward, but there was more I-formation than I was expecting. Jano threw a couple nice blocks. Such a wasted talent. He actually made a really nice grab too. Would be pretty cool to throw to the fb when the defense totally wasn't expecting it.
  11. For all of the gamers out there. New Star Wars Battlefront trailer.
  12. Yep. Easily my pick at #1. Taylor was good but Ganz was one of the most underrated QB's in Husker history imo. Loved him.
  13. I'm wanting to watch this. I am watching "Friends." I haven't seen it before. Watched some Marco Polo, will finish it. And still in the first season of House of Cards. Also this show is amazing! I've tried 2 or 3 episodes. I don't think I finished the 3rd one but I'm still trying to figure out what makes this show so 'amazing' to some people. Different strokes I get that but some people really love this show. Maybe I need to watch a few more episodes but so far I'm at a loss as to why some people think it's so great. If you have been around New Yorkers, a lot of the jokes are at the expense of them. It exposes a lot of the hypocrisy of NYC. I have been to New York several times, have family there, I do not enjoy going into NYC... It is by far the worse place on earth, think of the TV show OZ as one big city... Before anyone ask, yes I have been overseas, for close to a year, and yes I still hold NYC as worse place on earth, in part bc it is part of USA so judged more harshly. A lot of problems over seas its like yea, but, its X country so never a far chance... Haha. Interesting take on New York and that's not the first time I've heard that. I've been twice and both experiences were ok but I went totally as a tourist so I had a good time seeing the sights.
  14. ^ Agree with everything you said. I'm hoping that if Riley and co are the quarterback groomers they've been portrayed as then maybe then they can groom Armstrong into actually having a more successful year (higher completion % and less turnovers) giving us the best option at QB at the same time. The guy has a rifle and the experience but with TA one pass will be a bullet hitting the receiver perfectly in stride and away from the db even and then two plays later or what have you you'll ask yourself who was he throwing to? As for Darlington he looked good in the spring game in terms of hitting the open guys he was supposed to and they were open. I'm not knocking him at all but I'm not going to overstate what he did either. As someone said earlier I also just think both he and Bush definitely need to continue learning and with all of that experience TA to me seems to be the one you want to really focus on as far as what he can do well and what maybe are his shortcomings are. He should definitely be the starter that's for sure. Without question. All in all I'm pretty sure Riley and co are limited in terms of what they'd really like to do with their offense from a passing standpoint. Also I'm not closing the door on Johnny Stanton just yet. Something tells me we have not even come close to seeing him at his best. He seems like a head case to me at this point more than anything. I would also say these coaches also have some things to prove.
  15. I think I read that his defense team called like 3 witness on his behalf. Justice was served especially for the Lloyd family. Apparently he does have the option to appeal.
  16. ^ Reminds me of when Michael Jackson dangled his kid over his hotel balcony. Smart people out there I guess. This guy can kind of shoot a basketball. Report: Stephen Curry Made 77 Consecutive 3-Pointers in Practice, Hit 94 of 100
  17. Kind of makes sense with the log jam at running back. Question for me is who is going to get the bulk of those carries. I think that it could very well change as the season progresses and things shake themselves out. Steven M. Sipple: Huskers likely headed to 'by-committee' approach at I-back
  18. Never thought I'd use this function. Comes in pretty, pretty handy I must say.
