  1. Ameer is gone. The offensive line is a huge question mark and lost several key starters. He's not really saying anything groundbreaking there. The new coaching staff doesn't have a strong run offensive identity history wise either. Even if the old staff was still here the run game was going to be diminished no matter what.
  2. Kentucky students took their undefeated team's Final Four loss terribly [PHOTOS]
  3. Major butthurt from the Wildcats after the loss. Can you say Pelini'd... Andrew Harrison on Frank Kaminsky after Kentucky's loss to Wisconsin: 'F*** that n****
  4. This is his final year Time does fly - damn it. It seems like yesterday when everyone was questioning why Turner wasn't getting more PT as a true frosh. Then he dropped a wide-open TD pass at Minnesota and he went further into Bo's/Beck's doghouse. Kind of doubt that was the case at all. For an ex QB I feel like he turned (no pun intended lol) into a fairly good wide receiver. If anything would like to see what he can do when he's healthy and what he can do in space more as well.
  5. Harbaugh making his debut. Michigan spring game today. On BTN now.
  6. To me it sounds like he thinks his previous coaches have a better shot at getting him to the next level (which he won't). If he does leave that is. You don't just leave a division 1 school and go to an FBS school because you 'miss' your old coaches or miss home after your fourth year of being there. Either way if this guy is one of the best we have at defensive end Nebraska has bigger problems to solve.
  7. F Kentucky. Seriously. F them.
  8. Just for a heads up, I didn't grow up in Nebraska. My high school in Illinois was HUGE. 932 kids in my freshman class, 555 graduated. Dope and pregnancy took most of the others. I smelled weed every school day for four years. I saw A/B students falling out of their chairs and then dropping out. So excuse me if I don't buy into theories and conjectures and just go with what I saw and what I know. Why do you think they call it dope? I know plenty of guys and girls too for that matter who all turned out to be successful and have families etc and we all smoked pot in high school. It's statements like this that scream that you don't know what in the hell you are talking about. You sound like a 1950's anti drug advertisement. Stop already.
  9. I'm wanting to watch this. I am watching "Friends." I haven't seen it before. Watched some Marco Polo, will finish it. And still in the first season of House of Cards. Also this show is amazing! I've tried 2 or 3 episodes. I don't think I finished the 3rd one but I'm still trying to figure out what makes this show so 'amazing' to some people. Different strokes I get that but some people really love this show. Maybe I need to watch a few more episodes but so far I'm at a loss as to why some people think it's so great. If you're not a fan of the fast-paced, cerebral, self-deprecating comedy (e.g. 30 Rock), then you probably won't get into this, as it's done by the same folks. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're a fan of 30 Rock, you'll probably like this and should give it a go. Frankly, I can't wait for Season 2, as I'm sure the humor will be darker and the lack of network restrictions (remember--this whole season was filmed with the intent on airing on NBC before the network decided to go another direction) will help the show shine brighter. That's just it. I am a fan of 30 Rock. I'll give it a few more episodes though.
  10. Thanks for posting that. If anyone needs to smoke a big 'ol doobie it's Bo.

  12. It was Iowa. NUPolo8 mentioned it was suspicious that he was out of the Iowa game and Bo went on a rant about weed around the same time. Bo Pelini went on a weed rant? That is awesome! Had no idea. What did he say? Regardless of how old Gregory is you have to be pretty stupid to fail a drug test when you're on the brink of making millions. The Huskers have made the news for so many completely stupid things that were said or done these past few years it's mind blowing. You can't make this stuff up. Who'da thunk.
  13. Just read this little bit regarding the latest practice report. Same old Tommy. "Certainly Saturday came with some questionable throws that led to interceptions in team drills, including several by returning starter Armstrong." Also: " STILL ADJUSTING: No quarterback has lit the place afire during the first week of spring ball." Link
  14. And Vice Grips...William Petersen / DeWitt Nebraska! Nice!
  15. They've barely just started practicing you realize that right? Also don't believe everything you read especially from journalists who's only job is to 'cover' sports when most of them probably no more than wrote for there own school papers than actually even played a a sport themselves. I don't get caught up in any of these 'pieces'. I'll wait to see or not see for myself. Yes, I know when they started practicing. Hasn't Stanton been practicing here for quite awhile now? I was led to believe that many thought he would possibly overtake Tommy as the starter at some point LAST season. So I can only assume that by your stating that they've just started practicing, you think Stanton will move into that conversation of top QB's at some point here further down the road? Well, either way, I hope the best man gets on the field and wins games. Sounds like Bush is really getting a lot of hype right now. We'll just have to see. I don't think these journalists are just blowing smoke up our ass though, whether they ever played football or not shouldn't effect their eyesight. As for who's the starter and who actually gets to play that's up to the new coaching staff. It's still very early. We've all seen with our own eyes what Tommy can do and can't do. As for last season we all know who was in charge then so who those guys actually picked to see the field holds almost no merit for me at least. Bo's gone. Thank goodness.
  16. I just found out on Jeopardy today actually that kool aid was invented in Nebraska in 1927! After further investomogating it was invented by a chap named Edwin Perkins who was from Hastings Nebraska.

  18. After watching Cardell play against Alabama and Oregon...I wouldn't be surprised to see somebody take him in the 4th round...Still very raw, but with that size and arm... The thing that strikes me about Cardale is his poise. He's got the poise of an NFL quarterback as a freshman in college. Calm, cool and collected. What he did last season was just unreal. he was a redshirt sophomore last year and I think he is 23 years old. Regardless the first start of his college career was in the Big 10 championship game, his second start was a win over #1 ranked Alabama and I think you know what he did in the third start of his career... No one has ever started off their career like that in the history of college football. No one. If he starts the 2015 season, will he be able to handle no confetti after a win? I'm thinking he'll probably be o.k. since he's already been there and done that. Uh no he hasn't. The only games he's started was the B1G championship game (confetti at the end), Sugar Bowl (confetti at the end) and the national championship game (confetti at the end) It was a joke anyways
