After watching Cardell play against Alabama and Oregon...I wouldn't be surprised to see somebody take him in the 4th round...Still very raw, but with that size and arm... The thing that strikes me about Cardale is his poise. He's got the poise of an NFL quarterback as a freshman in college. Calm, cool and collected. What he did last season was just unreal. he was a redshirt sophomore last year and I think he is 23 years old. Regardless the first start of his college career was in the Big 10 championship game, his second start was a win over #1 ranked Alabama and I think you know what he did in the third start of his career... No one has ever started off their career like that in the history of college football. No one. If he starts the 2015 season, will he be able to handle no confetti after a win? I'm thinking he'll probably be o.k. since he's already been there and done that.

Absolutely. Biggest concern of the entire team imo.

I like the sound of this. Really like what I've seen of Wilbon. Will be watching to see what he can do and if he can bring something to the table. Even though he broke a few decent runs at the end of the year last season Cross to me is still a short yardage back and after what I saw of Newby and Taylor last year it would seem that Wilbon's got a chance. Needs reps obv.

I love Helu but I wish he hadn't signed with the Raiders. More playing time is great but the Raiders were dead last in rushing last year so I'm worried he won't have the line in front of him to show what he's truly capable of. Hopefully they'll upgrade that line otherwise at least it's only a 2 year contract. With the right team Helu could be a total stud. Who know's maybe the Raiders are that team. I'm hoping for the best.

That's probably why they took the action they did. Even were they to lose if this came to court (and I don't think they would, for reasons I cited above), that loss would be the lesser evil than to appear to condone racism. Yes. Totally agree. Amazing what one viral video of a few kids on a party bus can do to an entire university when you stop and think about it.

Here's the thing. If that president doesn't take harsh action and say those students were put on probation or what have you and given a slap on the wrist it sends a reaaallly bad message as far as the schools image is concerned. Also there would have been hell to pay on that campus and the SAE fraternity as well as the OU administration would have been the targets had those guys not been expelled I believe anyway. The schools image was put on the line thanks to those idiots and in some ways still probably is now. Things would have been far more messy than having to deal with getting sued by a few kids as far as the university is concerned had they not acted as swiftly and harshly as they did I feel anyway. I could be wrong.

Looks like Roy Helu will be wearing the silver and black next year or in other words he'll be going to no man's land. (the Raiders ranked dead last in rushing offense last year.) Free-agent running back Roy Helu Jr. has agreed to a contract with the Oakland Raiders.

Honestly the whole left handed QB deal scares me. Whoever the guy is needs to prove it on the field. Practice? Great. In an actual game? Totally different and is the only real scenario. That's the real test. Someone needs to step up because TA's tendencies to me aren't something that a new coach will change. If it's Stanton great. If it's Bush great. To me Armstrong will only get you so far in the big picture but if he by some miracle can prove people wrong then that's great but I don't see it happening. Nebraska as a program is going to sink or swim these next few years and having 'that' QB can make all the difference. With Pelini gone at least some of the other QB's on the roster will actually be seeing some real playing time or so it seems. I miss those days.
