  1. ^ Been listening to that Ramones live album on Spotify. It's really good.
  2. Pacers defeat Bulls while McDermott has career high
  3. Same situation Marshall had in Chicago Not so much. Cutler can sling it. He just makes too many bad decisions. Last year Cutler was #8 in completion percentage. Geno Smith was #27. He also led the league in interceptions. Like I said, he has a great arm. Just makes too many bad decisions. Definitely. Easily the most polarizing QB the Bears have ever had.

  5. Layne left too soon. Way too soon... Prophetic lyrics sadly.
  6. Just watching the 30 for 30 about Jimmy V and his North Carolina State teams. Another good one.

I think most of those 30 for 30s are on Netflix. I should watch them while they're up.

Yeah I think there are quite a bit of them on there which is great.

  7. This. For me the true meaning of the 'blackshirts' is definitely dead and gone. If I were the defensive coordinator it would be the first thing I held up to show the players.
  8. The Bears are moving to a 3-4 scheme meaning a guy like Suh would be ideal and they have options with their salary cap position. It is now actually a possibility. One can only dream though. Don't want to get my hopes up to high but there is definitely talk here about acquiring him.
  9. Yeah March madness is always fun and like you said a nice void filler. It's all about the upsets and the underdogs. Can't wait to see Kansas be shown the door early per usual. Always the best part of the tournament for me.
  10. Nebraska quarterback talk makes my head hurt anymore.
  11. my sub was delivered cold tonight, his ass is gone!
  12. Next big breaking news. "Nebraska towel boy leaves team. Gets job at Jimmy Johns".
  13. It's been years since I've been 'mad' at a Husker game. Maybe the last time was the 2009 Big 12 Championship/1 second on the clock debacle. I definitely remember the '98 Texas A&M game where Bobby Newcome threw the int that sealed the win for the Aggies in the final minutes. I was home alone thankfully at the time and after he threw the pick I grabbed the first thing I could find which at the time was a shoe and just threw it followed by me immediately turning the game off. It took me about 5 minutes to come back and notice that the shoe had managed to go right through the drywall and put a good size hole in the mid to upper part of the living room wall. I put a picture that was on another wall over the hole until my girlfriend came home and after a few minutes she was like 'what's that picture doing there?' I felt like a complete idiot and that was the last time I ever let myself get really pissed like that over a Husker game or any game for that matter. Lesson learned.
  14. Haven't seen the documentary yet so they might touch on it, but fun fact: Tas Pappas was one of 4-5 dudes all racing to try and land the 900 first before Tony Hawk did it in the '99 X-Games. Him, Tony, Rob Boyce and Danny Way were all trying it nonstop that entire year. Yes I remember and that is covered in this doc and without giving anything away there was some drama involved with Hawk, Pappas and the 99 X-games where Tony did actually land it. I had no idea until I saw this.
  15. I wasn't expecting much. Boy was I wrong. Puts things into perspective or at least that's the feeling I had after watching this. So much more than a simple skateboarding doc. I'll probably watch this a 2nd time.
