  1. Most of these guys mentioned will in no way be coming to Nebraska.
  2. This is just a link to the theater listings? Anyhow I hope the trailer leaks online soon.
  3. Pelini would have to have an entire personality change via shock therapy coinciding with countless hours of intense psychotherapy. He would also be required to practice implement abundant meditation and reflection time after the shock therapy sessions concluded. Yeah right lol. If we keep him the real question is just how irrelevant can Nebraska get? I don't want to know.
  4. could the pic have been taken without the nut shot? I am sure the vest looks a lot better with slacks! jay tee for the NU hizzy! Yeah sorry about that lol.
  5. Yup. He's earned it, and is arguably the best coach on the staff. Totally agree.
  6. His press conferences. I haven't watched one in years. Talk about a waste of time. I don't know how some people could stomach listening to his same drivel over and over and over again.
  7. As HC? No way. Yeah they would...lots of schools would. We, as fans of the program, look at it much differently then people who are doing the hiring. Look who got high profile jobs with little on their resume that was "awesome" Saban got LSU Miles got LSU Muschamp got UF Strong got UT (you can make a case that he had more on his resume, but, not a lot) Franklin got PSU Kiffen (twice) O Leary got ND! Price got Bama! Hoke got Michigan Now, come on, none of those guys, maybe Kelly, had a resume where you would be like "HOLY sh#t! THIS GUY IS AMAZING" Does it mean he will get a new job if he got canned, I have no idea at all but to pretend like not one decent school would even think about him is crazy. One can always dream. Not me but someone I'm sure who's a Pelini fan could dream. Easily disagree. Nothing like shooting for mediocrity by hiring Pelini.
  8. One question. Does Nebraska appear to be slower because of sheer athletic ability, or is it because of what so many have been suspecting and what Jake Cotton has pretty much confirmed? (too much thinking. not enough playing) But, yeah, the thing about SEC looking bigger faster strong is such a crapload of BS. I watch a lot of football, and I guess i just dont see such a glaring difference. I have always felt like the SEC has been known for it's speed going way back. The Miami teams we used to play and Florida in 96. That's all they talked about was their speed or when they talked about the SEC as a whole that's what they talked about. I do think Nebraska looks lost like they're thinking to much and not playing which has been even more stupefying this season and last season also after hearing our so called coaches say that they were going to 'simplify' things. Sometimes even the simplest things can be made confusing if the source that the information is coming from doesn't know how to explain something effectively and efficiently or just doesn't know what they're talking about. I would blame the players but this has been going on for years now so these coaches are the one's to blame imo when it comes to the 'current state' of NU. I don't think it has anything to do with Nebraska's speed or lack thereof.
  9. I disagree about the comment that the teams in the SEC are noticeably bigger and faster. The faster part I'll partially give you. I still think you punch an SEC team in the mouth and suddenly there not so god like anymore.
  10. The last time I was excited about a Husker team was when Suh was here. Besides that my level of genuine excitement has been nothing close to what is always used to be. Like someone said above it is definitely time to hit the reset button. The stadium has been upgraded a long with other upgrades to make the game day experience more epic but the playing on the field in the Pelini era has never came close to keeping up with what used to be the norm in Lincoln and that is a feeling of genuine excitement anytime the Huskers took the field. I'd sure like to feel genuinely excited about my Huskers again. I'm waiting on you Shawn Eichorst a person I really know nothing about and Harvey Pearlman. Yeah. That's where were at...
