  1. It couldn't be that Obama wants more teachers because he wants better educated citizens, who will be more efficient and reliable in the work force, creating higher demand for skilled American labor, thereby increase the revenue of the government, hopefully balancing the budget and alleviating our debt problems over time? Could it?
  2. I just wish Nebraska would legalize the growing of it. Who cares about the smoking--people can do that regardless of the laws. Considering it pretty much grows naturally here? (ditch weed anyway)
  3. Haha I think any school in WA would be a better choice x1000
  4. No disrespect, but your friend Sam sounds like a member of the Westboro Baptist Church. Uh, yeah. She's intense. Sounds like she would love a christian version of Iran. Such close mindedness makes me :facepalm
  5. But with everyday that passes it becomes harder and harder for the DEA to create a case.
  6. You were obviously looking for some type of a reaction, and you got it. That's all I meant. You make it so hard to be mad at you sometime. I fundamentally disagree with you about a lot of religious things, but you seem to be a damn good guy and more tolerant/open minded than most outspoken Christians.
  7. Obviously they have to have some weight on them, but I would assume (along with their skill) we recruit these guys for their frame so we can put the weight on if need be. Some of our freshmen D line may need to cut fat too, they're pretty big guys. Nice thing coming in and cutting weight or changing your make up is it's the easiest way to get more athletic. Just from personal experience it's amazing 1) how relatively easy it is to drop 20lbs and maintain your current strength (it takes commitment but it's not that bad) and 2) how much quicker and more mobile you become. Playing a rough game of pick up football as a linemen 2 years and 15lbs out of high school and I felt like I could fly around like Clay Matthews.
  8. Is there such thing as facebook trolling? If so nice work!
  9. Isn't that basically the Volt in Cadillac trim? Read a cool article in motor trend about the new Tesla (S if I remember right). Bested all the high end German performance sedans for a little bit more cost, and it made it from Vegas to LA on one charge. So truly electric cars are coming along pretty well.
  10. When did he actually do this? Still haven't seen any proof but on some MSU board a guy was whining about it. Said the comish should look into it or something stupid like that.
  11. MSU is dirty, but most of those plays were far from dirty. Gholston's leaning on people happens all the time in every game. Taylor's helmet to helmets happen too (we've done it a few times ourselves) and the worst was flagged. The hits on Tim were clean (his shoulder popped out twice). The shove of Stafford wasn't dirty, it was before the whistle and about when Maxwell stepped out. If you really wanted to look at bad sportsmanship find clips of 70 on their offense he was generally a prick all game. Or them lighting up Ameer without the ball and on INTs, like what they did to KB. Targeting star players is just about as low as it gets. Honestly I think this video is terrible, unless you are somehow trying to be sarcastic. Editing is fine but your message is lost on me.
  12. I was actually thinking the same thing, all our other guys are pretty stout but he seems to have the biggest gut. Just an amateur opinion I know, but you don't see to many tackles looking like he does.
  13. Was that way in the 90's for bowl games as well, I think they get a bigger travel budget for those. They may have had two planes, but they took their practice officials along as well, so my parent got to go to the '95 Orange Bowl while I had to stay home with my grandparents. Never let them live that one down.
  14. Yeah, can't see much in that video. It looks like he may have held him but the defender also turned on him, then A-Rod let him go. But the ball was out so quick it probably wouldn't have mattered.
  15. Is that guy in the official's hat on the right missing an eye?
  16. I caught that, but I couldn't tell if it was his index or middle finger.
  17. I'm sure there have been. We've had them quite a few times the past two years, and I've never been impressed with them. I think this was probably their second game this year for us. I guess I don't pay enough attention to who officiates our games. I hope we don't get them anymore this season. I just recognized the head officials. This crew is pretty ticky tacky on their calls, I maybe wrong but I feel like they have quite a few PF calls on their record. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't one of the more noticeable crews in any game. I think Bo was right when he said they haven't seen much of our and MSU's aggressive coverage, this crew especially. The previous two weeks we got to play pretty fast and loose and this week it was like we couldn't touch guys, or maybe we got a little too cocky.
  18. Don't think so. Sideline reporter said they went over their to check on him and he look at them and said "don't worry about me I'm fine." Tough kid, could be trouble next year.

  20. Yes I noticed the section on the northeast corner was all up Yup, yup! came into town tonight on 180 and the north third of the upper deck is constructed, minus the benches.
  21. What's all this "phantom" personal foul talk. It may have been a questionable call, but the MSU guy never should have put the ref in the position to throw the flag. Just a bone headed play so far from the ball. Used to have some respect for Sparty, but that is fading fast.
  22. He's called Taylor that since his freshman year. It's just an annunciation thing on his part, like he cant pronounce a "z" properly or something, drives me nuts too. Technically if he were Hispanic "Martines" would be the proper pronunciation. Z's sound like S's in spanish. .
  23. You mean William Gholston? The preseason All-American? That one? The premier pass rusher in the country when he isn't punch people or being undisciplined? That one? Ooo, ooo can I join in on this one? You mean the right side where we basically burned them on the majority of running plays? The right side where Taylor score from twice? That right side? Yes pass pro needs work, but when you're a running team that's typical, and when you are going up against an great DE it's expected.
