  1. Was there that night, but was too concerned with trick or treating afterwards to remember that much, but I do remember being dissapointes and Ricky Williams running wild.
  2. He is a jerk didn't you see him punching Compton at the end of the game, that's ridiculous!
  3. Unless the DBs have a much grander scheme than I can fathom, I would have to respectable disagree with Bo and wonder what film has he been watching. Although I will give Lance credit he had a pretty decent game against Minnesota for what it's worth.
  4. Nice I wanted to see what they had to say but I missed it. I figured it would be something like that, they're all pretty old school even Keshawn and I love it.
  5. Except, NU hasn't worn their gloves that make the logos yet. The gloves they have worn all year are plain on the palm side. Actually I believe we wore them for the osu game but Dennard was the only one to flashed them after SJB's TD
  6. Voted for everyone but Blatchford, just never been thrilled with him when he's on the field yet. Basically it would be nice to see all the young guys get in there and get some reps, especially Heard coming of of his infection. And hopefully if some of the walk-ons traveled get them out there to and reward them for putting in their time. And one you didn't include that I would really like to see get more reps is Trevor Roach. I thought he showed some promise early in the year and I've just been waiting for him to bump Fisher off.
  7. Sweet picture, I looked at it and the Imperial March from Star Wars instantly started playing in my head!
  8. Where'd you go to school, what year did you graduate?
  9. Sheesh you were scrawny. When I was 6 foot I was probably 250lb wasn't really fat but I was a bigger kid, granted I was probably a junior by that time.
  10. Don't remember specifically playing against them because they're all a year under me and I didn't really pay attention to who was on another team, but I played teams with Mike Caputo (Millard North, hardest hitting team we ever played and either class A state champs or runner up don't remember), Austin Cassidy (Southeast), Baker Steinkuler (Southwest), and anybody from Lincoln public schools, Norfolk, North Platte, Grand Island, or Bellevue West that graduated last year. Jim Ebke was my QB for my senior year and I remember getting him at least one TD but mostly just trying not to get him killed. And I played midget and HS football with Sam Meginnis. Have a buddy from GICC that swears Peterson was a baby and cried or something during one game.
  11. OP I understand and somewhat agree with you. But if you're in an AQ confrence and undefeated I think it's only fair that you be close to the other undefeated AQ's. Eventually things will even out because you'll have to play decent teams at some point. It usually balances out at the end of the year for some reason.
  12. Take some ownership for it and admit that you let them down, and either didn't want to go back or couldn't face going back.
  13. Pretty sure when you screw up that bad and then bail on your team you're not that sad.
  14. Let the conspiracy theories begin! Although I think there was probably something to be found if they would have look good and hard.
  15. My favorite thing about Beck is that he admits his mistakes, and is honest when answering questions about it. He's a stand up guy, and in a few years, when his gameplan/management/discipline matures, he will be one deadly coach. I only wish that if/when he gets there that we could hold on to him for decades. But in this day and age a coach/coordinator that sticks around after years of success is few and far between. Maybe he'll groom one of the position coaches to take his place. Someone like, I dunno... Barney Cotton! About that... Nothing against Barney, but that doesn't seem to work out that well very often either.
  16. That really does suck for the team and especially for him personally. But I think we've got some pretty good talent behind him and they have actually seen the field this year and gained some experience so we should be in good shape. Hopefully he can be a good mentor to those guys and provide some more sideline coaching.

  18. And to think people were up in arms about Beck last week and throughout the OSU game prior to the comeback. He's definitely still growing, and I can see some slip ups here and there in the future, but you'd have to be blind not to see his potential. According to Huskers.com he was officially a receivers coach and was promoted to pass game coordinator. http://www.huskers.c...&ATCLID=1364518
  19. I love how Beck is seemingly making offense sexy again at NU. Compared to almost the last decade where it's been a migraine.
  20. Couldn't it just be limited for one man or one publication?
  21. Haven't seen this posted yet. I understand he was on the hot seat, but why you fire a coach in the middle of the year if there aren't serious abuses going on just doesn't make much sense to me. http://content.usato...stoops-fired-/1
  22. I'm not going to lie I'm kind of a sucker for most of his films, but this is literally what they are turning into:

i'm only here for the +1's, baby. I got ya covered
  24. Yup - this game will come down to turnovers. We'll get our 10-12 possessions, we need to score on 8 of them, because they'll score on nearly ever possession as well. A turnover and we flip the score by 10-14 in this game. I agree and the good part for us it that Robinson has thrown 3 more picks than Martinez this year, hopefully our secondary can keep the momentum going and improve enough to make him one dimensional.
