Maybe this can be the intelligent conversation thread since the others are overrun with trolling. I like what I see from the Huskies' offense as far as how we match up defensively. Hawaii committed a lot of the same mistakes that we did against Fresno, like false steps failure to attack the line and things like that. But if Bo has anything to say about it those issues will be more than corrected by Saturday. Another observation is that the O line doesn't seem to get a very good push on run plays, it's more of Polk finding a sliver of day light and making people miss, that probably won't work as well against the quicker athletes that we have on D. On the other hand I'm not sure what to think about our offensive match up, to be honest I'm a little concerned. Hopefully we see some new material that hasn't been unveiled yet, but even if we don't I like our odds with our young play makers. And I definitely think Taylor will have to be more careful with the secondary, because as was mentioned they look very opportunistic. Although I like our Chances pretty well in this game I'm still a little torn as to whether it will be a couple touch down win or a tight fought game through the 4th. I think it really comes down to the game plans and for that we'll have to wait until Saturday.

Actually if you take out the players, the woman, and the idiotic remix it's a pretty good one. But then it would be fairly short... It would be nice to have the fireworks back for a couple games.

x1000 I didn't even know what they were saying until now and I went to the first two games. Overall I think its pretty average if not under. Personally it doesn't get me pumped like the ones in the past have. I know somebody put a lot of effort into but it just doesn't have much oomph to it, if you know what I mean.

It's pretty much exactly how Kansas ran their pre-snap with Reesing. I hated it then and it still annoys me now, but I can't argue against the fact that it can be pretty successful if the D shows it's hand.

That would be a cut block and any more it's pretty risky, because if anyone else hits the defender high it's an automatic 15 yarder (chop block). But we did use it a few times last week iirc, however it wasn't all that effective. It's another one of those things that takes timing, practice and believe it or not a little finesse.

Just for pure BA sound I always loved F-18s , nothing sounds as loud or pissed off to me. So the blue angles would be my #1 choice. What happened to the F-22s?

I was in Eighth grade as well. I remember rumors going around during home room and first period about somebody blowing up buildings and that we were at war. Sometime later that morning all the teachers sat their kids down and told us what was going on. We were in the fitness room with Mr. Farley who told us what was happening, and just sat and talked with us for the whole period, they wouldn't let us watch anything though. Can still remember the clothes I was wearing that day, but I couldn't tell you about the walk home. Only other thing I remember was sitting at the counter after school and turning the TV and just watching in disbelief and fear. And my mom telling me I would never forget this day and I should probably write down my feelings about it. Both my parents talked to my grandparents and they said it was like Pearl Harbor happening all over again for them. I still have the flag that the Journal Star printed hanging in my bedroom at home.

The girlfriend and I were out biking on the trail a few weeks back when they were having the funeral service for Patrick Hamburger and a few blocks from 33rd street I heard this deep beating sound of helicopters. A few seconds later I got a glimpse of them through some trees and they eventually flew directly over us at only a few hundred feet up. For the B1G, if Missouri and Kansas are both in the hunt for new homes. Not saying it *will* happen, but *if* the B1G decides to expand, and Kansas is on the market, our biannual Nebraska migration game could be back on. The title was a little misleading. Just from an athletic standpoint Kansas would be the Yin to Nebraska's Yang, I don't think Missouri really offers that other than a marginal football team every few years. And I don't know to much about the academic side of it but to me KU would seem to be more prestigious than MU, but that could just be because I have family that are on tenure and went to school there so I have a little experience with it.

I would say LBs were over rated before I would say the D line is over rated. LBs were getting smoked in the flats all afternoon, and didn't fill the run support to well (except for David)

About blocking the DBs: am I right in thinking that Taylor was making the call for who the slot would block? On one of the last series he motioned to the slot who noded back and then he picked up the safety I believe.

Had me saying "where have you been the last four years", and then showed me the next play by not getting to the edge on a sweep.
