Im probably going to be looking to buy my first home this fall. Im not looking forward to it with all the horror stories Ive heard about this market from others looking.

Im not quite sure what is so hard to comprehend what BRB is saying. Lets put it another way, MTG ideology is the future of the party. There is that better?

If Republican VOTERS could choose the leadership of the party, do you think they would choose MTG to represent them? My guess is they would absolutely vote for her. Republican voters love her and what she stands for. That is what he most likely means when he says future of the party. More people like her will be voted into office, and less people like Liz Cheney or Mitt Romney. It does not matter one iota who politicians think are the future and who they choose as leadership. Its the voters that decide and they have spoken with their donations going toward people like MTG and Lauren Brobert.

Those are the things you think are nonsense? The only thing in there that I dont really understand is the essential home care workers thing. The other stuff you pointed out are essential parts of a good infrastructure bill. More needs to be done than just patch up some roads and bridges and call it good. The republicans had a chance to make this bill happen, Trump even said he wanted an infrastructure bill and they didnt get it done. Its their MO not to get things done.

Looks like they just want to focus on roads and bridges and cut the bill by more than half, want to spend half a trillion. That will barely make a dent. No broadband for rural areas. No pipes and resodential infrastructure. No water structures to make sure Flint doesnt happen again. No green energy. Its a watered down bill that wont even make a dent in the issues. You mentioned the other day that this bill has a lot of nonsense in it. What is the nonsense in your opinion that can be cut out?

I would love to just go about my business and not interact about religion at all. Problem is, what knapp said, laws are based around religion and religious people try to force their doctrine on people. We had one person in this thread laughing at the fact he thinks Im going to hell. We had another person in another thread call my wife dirty because shes jewish then go on to insult and demean me because he thinks hes superior to me because he has “grace” and Im the hypocrit because I dont. The reason I started this thread though wasnt to get religious people to become atheist. I actually enjoy the calls on the show, Ive learned a lot about science, morality, bible, etc and I thought Id share and let others learn some stuff they may not have known. Its interesting to me and these conversations can be interesting.

The period in our country with the most economic growth and the biggest growth of the middle class was when the top marginal tax rate was close to 90% under a republican president. Now income inequality is getting out of control, the middle class is shrinking, and new home buyers have to compete with foreign investor groups paying cash for homes, people are complaining over a top marginal tax rate of 37%.

This is terribly sad but this video disproves everyone saying she was defending herself from people attacking her at her own house. I was about to crucify this cop when the intial story came out. She was literally about to stab someone in the neck. It was a good shoot unfortuantely the girl died. But if he didnt shoot the headline would be “cop lets woman be stabbed to death in front of him”.
