As far as I know, he has been a candidate for other jobs, but never interviewed for any. Well if this rivals report about FAU is true, it will be the first. That's what makes it strangely in proximity with that other weird rumor. I'm not going to correlate two rumors. That's not a good idea. If they both happen to be true, I will eat my crow. Yeah I understand. I just think it's a bit odd they're both surfacing at the same time with somewhat common themes. Odds are they're both just rumors in the end. We'll see.

I feel ya. Believe me, I'm not one to jump on someone who claims to have a good source. The funny thing is, I heard that the Chris Petersen thing may have some weight to it, from a source who's also right damn near all the time. That's why this rumor is particularly interesting to me.

Not quite. Nebraska shot itself in the foot of every single facet of that game. I still thinks Michigan is the better team and wins that game 7 times out of ten, but Nebraska gave them soooo many gifts.

Nebraska doesn't deserve to play in the CCG, the fact that both teams might be ones they've beat is just a cruel reminder. Maybe they can use that as motivation to play to their full potential every week

This Huskers team and last year's have been two of the most mentally volatile teams I've ever seen. Inconsistency is the ultimate program progress killer.

Picked up some of this Cutthroat Porter at Woehlner's while in Omaha for the weekend. It was EXCELLENT.

I ordinarily at least browse these predictions, but anyone who makes a prediction for this game is just foolish. This is one of the biggest scandals ever in sports, there is NO WAY anyone could predict how the PSU players are going to react. Too unprecedented.

There was a players only meeting held in the last 48(?) hours. Sounds like Paterno is on his way out, I feel terrible for these players. They had a good season going and it's probably going to hell in a hand basket because of this. This weekend is going to be weird.

The "fire Bo" squad all seem to gravitate toward the fact that losing to a far lesser team is becoming a trend. You can say that, but it's only been 4 years. A MNC wasn't going to come overnight. I think this squad simply thinks Bo can't change that trend that we'll underwhelm at least once a year. But remember "fire Bo" squad, losing to the big opponents was a trend not to long ago under Bo. I had faith that NU was on the upswing under Bo, but their were times in his first years when I knew we wouldn't have a chance against great opponents. He's changed that trend. Missouri last year, OSU and MSU this year to name the ones that come to mind. MU and MSU were top-10 wins, and OSU is going to end up possibly being our win of the year. Competing in big games is one thing - and a trend we have bucked - but overlooking teams and underwhelming is a mental thing that is just taking longer for Bo and his staff to work out.
