  1. So wait Sims Freshman year he had: 1478 yds, 7.8 ypa, 12 TD 7 int Stetson Bennet Junior year 1179 yds, 7.6 ypa, 8 TDs 6 int Fire Kirby Smart. How did he think Bennet would even be a good QB after stats like that!!!
  2. Yeah iirc he was even defending him after the scandal. So that's a good point that it doesn't really matter to be seen when he already is associated. No worries just making sure lol. There are a lot of people in the football world and fans that take that stuff very lightly.
  3. For who? Anyone associating with Briles still seems like a scumbag.
  4. Adding on to this about dual threat. Anthony Richardson just got drafted 4th after a single pretty meh passing season just because his physical tool set was so good.
  5. Texas and Illinois both won 5 games their first year. That Frost person won 6 he must be good. Lets hire him.
  6. DaBoer would be a great point if he didn't bring Penix from where he was the OC.
  7. How many quick turnarounds have we seen that didn't bring a QB from a previous school?
  8. If you put someone on the ignore list does it make the idiotic useless threads they post disappear too? If not can we take people's ability to create new posts if they have proven to not mature enough to handle it because every loss it brings a wave of these terrible topics.
  9. If you swap QBs in this game we blow them out and not just at the end of the game. It would have been start to finish massacre. I think if we even have a average QB we blow them out.
  10. That makes sense. This defense is definitely not that level but I can't remember a better one since then. And it's not like we have an abundance of talent there.
  11. Does anyone know when the last time was that we had 8 sacks in a game?
  12. Colorado has the best offense we will face this year in scheme and personnel. Maybe Michigan is close and Maryland has some of that but neither are as good as what we saw today. The rest of what we will face will be in a different category all together.
  13. I would have 100% taken Leipold probably 3rd after Rhule and Deboer. Its funny how many people were clamoring for Beilema though.
  14. Well tbf Alabama beat them last year. It just felt like a win for Texas because they had a shot at it. Bama is however like 34-1 at home or something like that in their last 35 games and that one loss is to the 2019 LSU tigers.
  15. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Duggan just had poise and made plays at the end of the game all last year when needed. Having Quentin Johnson probably helped though.
  16. Considering they won 5 games the year before yes I'd say it's not crazy to say TCU is not a team that is deep enough to handle losing that many players
  17. Sonny Dykes was there at TCU for one off-season before last year and inherited a lot of draft level talents that are gone now. TCU is not an elite recruiter that has players to replace them with in one year. It's more a question of if their defense was a fluke last year or not. Dykes is a good offensive coach but even their offense took a hit this year with a downgrade at QB and losing 2 WRs and a HB and a G to the draft.
  18. The point being that it's not like we ran vs Minnesota because we were milking it. We ran because they want to run the ball. Wow you really missed the point. Read over and try this again when you understand.
  19. It's not like we we had a comfortable lead at any point vs Minnesota and they stuck with it. Colorado has a good OC and some skill players but TCU is not a school that recruits well and just lost players from every level of their defense to the draft.
  20. We ran the ball 37 times for 4.9 ypc for Minnesota. That was not the issue. Minnesota is a tougher defense to run vs than Colorado.
  21. Did y'all forget the beginning of the year last season when Thompson under threw deep ball after deep ball to a wide open Palmer? He nailed it in the Purdue and Iowa game but there is no way you are going to say that you take a single deep throw and Casey would for sure hit it. I'm pretty sure he missed a deep ball that was easier to hit in game 1 vs northwestern.
  22. Yeah on both sides somehow I think. 1 score losses sunk Frost because he continued to do so in most of his games for 4 years. It's been a single game and Rhule can't coach and Colorado is going to win the natty already.
  23. Name the teams right now that their fanbase was happy with the OC when the year ended.
  24. Y'all are all missing it. We covered the spread by 4.5. We do that the rest of the year and we have 8 wins. Easy stuff
  25. I'll be honest there seemed like a ton of false starts last night including some from us. That LT was holding Lenhardt a lot too. We got away with a couple holds I think but they were getting away with some bad ones all game. B1G really needs to actually evaluate these refs
