    I worked in the football offices at Cerritos College in Southern California. We had at least 10 bonafide division 1 players a year. I have a ton of recruiting stories about players and coaches all over the country. When it comes to Nebraska, they were probably the biggest victim of negative recruiting. I have a feeling this is still continuing. And it was bad.

      One of our players went to visit arizona st and the staff had made a collage of twitter meltdowns by fans. It was of mostly Nebraska fans. I talked to him that night and he said other recruits knew they did it on purpose because Nebraska was recruiting them hard.

      One thing I do know about this staff is that they are genuinely liked by so many. We had a direct pipeline to Oregon St and the coaches are great people. I know many of the kids they are recruiting now really like the staff and everything nebraska has to offer. Nebraska gets high grades by prospects for a reason, its phenomenal. The problem is, these kids do not want to leave home or anywhere that does not remind them of home. It is that simple.
