  1. Regardless of political affiliation, I would assume that most individuals don't follow all those instructions. How many individuals do you know properly wash their hands for 20+ seconds and not cross contaminate when turning off the sink? Also, there are individuals that do not have the luxury to stay home when they are sick.
  2. Good for Campbell. MSU is a mess and I think he actually likes it in Iowa. Glad to see someone stick around for more that a couple years.
  3. I think this would be more of a problem if OSU, Alabama, and Clemson had infinite roster spots, but they don't. Even if the rule changes, I still think those schools will put a premium on HS talent.
  4. Every other state? I am trying to think of a JUCO program in Ohio.
  5. It is a futile endeavor to compare championship teams 25 years apart. The game changes a lot over that period of time. Come to think of it, most of the players from 25 years ago would have been kicked out of the game for targeting calls. Also, how many catches and fumbles would have been overturned from instant replay? Even wrongly overturned
  6. Seeing how Burrow was the #2 behind Barrett before Burrow breaks his hand makes you wonder. https://lettermenrow.com/ohio-state-football/joe-burrow-heisman-trophy-lsu-ohio-state-broken-hand-buckeyes-football/ Day has coached two QBs that ended up Heisman finalist, we will see what Fields does in season 2 in Columbus. Maybe Burrow doesn't set the NCAA touchdown record this year if he stayed OSU, but I have little doubt he wouldn't have been great at OSU. Haskins accounted for 54 touchdowns last year and Fields had 51 touchdowns. I think he could have matched that or exceeded Haskins or Fields in Day's offense, but maybe he doesn't get to 65. I will reserve judgement on Brady if he can turn the next LSU QB into a Heisman caliber QB.
  7. I suspect he would have done just fine at OSU if he stayed and Haskins left. LSU doesn't win a title without him and he would have been better than Fields this year. He also would have been very good as a starter at OSU last year.
  8. LSU was very good this year, and they may be one of the greatest teams ever, but I would pump the breaks on the SEC needing to adjust. They may be just fine without Burrow, or they may fall back to where they were before.
  9. The revisionist history, by people on message boards and in the media, is out of hand. To top it off, I heard Herbie tonight say Burrow was only a two star recruit. He was the #8 dual threat qb in the class and a 4 star recruit. I am happy for him, but some of this is over the top. That is all finished now...Mr Burrow, take time to celebrate because we need you back in southern Ohio ASAP. #WhoDey
  10. Mount has played in 21 NC games since 1993 and has won 13. I think it best to let the schools decide which level they want to participate in and the amount they spend on their athletics programs. The schools should be able to pick the athletic model they want participate in. I respect anyone that can win a 24 ream playoff that many times. This isn't the FBS where it is a crappy 4 team playoff.
  11. Aren't all the divisions top heavy? Maybe the NCAA should force some schools to move down. I don't understand why any school outside of the P5, and maybe a few non power 5 teams, would even want to be in the FBS.
  12. Why? So they can be just another mid major that has no real shot at winning a nc? I like the FCS, D2, and D3 models and I don't fault any school that wants to stay in one of those divisions.
  13. I still don't know what a catch is, but that was a fun game to watch even though there were some frustrating moments. Clemson's defense stepped up when they needed to the most. If OSU scored touchdowns instead of the three fields goals, it might have been a totally different game. Good luck to Clemson the rest of the way.

@The Dude Historically either one, but in today's game I would pick Saban.

Devaney is too low. Osborne, while great, may be too high. It took him more than two decades to replicate the success Devaney had in less than ten years.

I love me some Tom Osborne, but if he was a top-four all-time great, wouldn't he have had more success, and sooner?

I'd keep Osborne in the top 15. Maybe top 10. But I'd have to do more research to say definitively.

      Bill Snyder at #55 is a bit low.  Sure his 215-117-1 record includes more losses than some.  But he started from ground zero.  Snyder raised K-State from the absolute dregs of college football to be a decent team.  I'd put him no lower than #20.  Right behind where I'd put Devaney.  (-;

  14. I think Taylor needed to show up the first time he played OSU to have a chance. I understand he had a nice game against them in the CCG, but he only had 52 yards (2.6 avg) against them in the regular season. The 76 yards vs Minny (ABC national game) probably didn't help either. You have to shine in those types of games, especially late in the year, to win this award. Either way, this is Joe Burrow's award to lose at this point. Nice to see an OSU grad and two current OSU players at the ceremony.
  15. I'll take it. OSU needs to finally beat Clemson sometime, and the 28th sounds like a good time to do it.
  16. It happens all the time when you beat 3 top 15 teams in a row and win your conference championship game.
  17. Lol @ LSU fans for thinking there is a big10 bias. Have they seen how the media has treated the sec the past 10 years?
  18. I love seeing this. Campbell seems like he wants to build something in Ames and he isn't concerned about some of these open jobs.
  19. I think they are the two best teams and I hope they meet up in the NC game.
  20. The "poor little ol'e Clemson" bit is getting old. Waiting for the 31-0 or O31O come back...
  21. This should be fun. I am looking forward to seeing OSU play in a dome.
  22. It would be stupid to leave a perfectly good situation and go to a train wreck of a situation. If you don't have a good administration, it is hard to have a successful program.
