  1. Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't Bubba Starling the one that everyone says is going to baseball. If so then look at Huskers.com as he signed a loi today at 9:05 am.
  2. 3. Maybe he's going to UNO, UNK or Peru State. That would be really shocking news.
  4. Lets not forget the one and only touchdown where colt was laying on the ground in a dog pile on the 1 yard line. Then slide the ball past to be called a touchdown. There was enough evidence with a perfect placed camera to show it was not a touchdown. Even the commentators stated it would be called back. Sure enough head referee got the call it was a touchdown.
  5. outside the Big 12 everyone would see non equal revenue share a problem. Inside the Big 12 all schools if I remember right voted for it. The main problem the conference has is trying not upset the all power Texas :: rolling eyes ::. I believe a conference can function well if all parties have equal power, even without equal revenue share. Although it would be better if all members had equal power and revenue share. brb need to take a shower as I feel dirty for calling Texas powerful :: shivers ::
  6. ok i'm breaking the rules to so i'm sorry. The greatest game i've seen in Husker History (since i've been alive that is). Was the Fiesta Bowl against Florida in 95. That was a great game. But it was even better for me since I was sitting in my Uncles house in Mobile Alabama surrounded by Florida fans. As for the 97 game I can't remember much of it. But I know it was a close hard fought game. When Frost threw the pass I was screaming at the tv you f*cking idiot as I thought the pass was dropped and game over. Thankfully I was wrong
  7. Well so far Texas has helped in killing SWC. It currently has Big 12 on the ropes ready for the knock out punch. If they did this then I guess their goals got bigger as that would kill television forcing everyone to go back to listening to the radio for shows.
  8. Hmmm... did anyone else pay attention to the clock? If i'm looking at it right he caught it (still don't see how) with 2 seconds left. Now i'm at work so no sound not sure if whistle blew before it read 00. But if I remember right and please correct me if I'm wrong if a touchdown is scored even with 00 left a extra point is allowed to still be attempted. NCAA Football Rules see page 112 opportunity to score. ARTICLE 2. A try is an opportunity for either team to score one or two points while the game clock is stopped after a touchdown. It is a special interval in the game which, for purposes of penalty enforcement only, includes both a down and the “ready” period that precedes it. A. The ball shall be put in play by the team that scored a six-point touchdown. If a touchdown is scored during a down in which time in the fourth period expires, the try shall not be attempted unless the point(s) would affect the outcome of the game. taken right from the .pdf link
  9. I can't believe nobody addressed this! godd2, that statement couldn't be further from the truth! If you're wearing Husker Red you matter to this team. You are no different from me, a guy sitting a few hundred yards from Memorial Stadium right now. You are no less a Husker Fan because you live outside the state, just like those of us who live in Lincoln aren't somehow "more Husker than thou." Let's be real about Nebraska, and Lincoln in particular. There aren't a lot of great jobs here. There isn't a lot to do in this state. The weather is too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, and the streets are in a constant state of disrepair because of it. Add on to that a small population/huge state, and you have high taxes just to pay for basic necessities. OF COURSE people move out of this state, but they keep their Husker fandom alive when they leave, and they are every bit as much a fan as anyone else, regardless of location. Dude, don't for a second believe that you are not important. I can guarantee you that the folks running the show in the Athletic Department love you out-staters very, very much. You are the people who fill stadiums across the country with Red, you are the people who represent Husker Nation from Maine to Montana, California to Kentucky. I just can't tell you enough how much you out-of-state folks matter to this program. +1 I couldn't agree with you more. I love the fact that our team is supported all over the nation. When I watch the games on tv I like looking at the banners we have hanging up around saying fans from Cali, Kentucky and all of them. When I joined the military one of the first things I packed every time I moved was my husker gear some of it even went to Iraq with me. Anyone that tells you your not a true fan because you don't live near Lincoln is full of sh*t.
  10. I watched the board of regents meeting that was televised last Friday. I was shocked but excited when Mr. Pearlman requested to join Big 10 in 2011 athletically and 2010 academically. Which the board did approve. Went to huskers.com today and 2011-2012 football schedule has been taken down other than a couple OOC games.
  11. I only wear Jordan shoes which are made by Nike. But for sports gear I don't care who makes it as long as I can wear it lol. Special Uniforms I to would like to stick with the traditional type. However I do like the occasional different look. So I've always thought it would be neat if we took a special game like this years Texas game and did a black out. Where every fan wears a black shirt and we come out in black uniforms.
  12. My Gosh....those...and mean "that" is lovely!! Keep your eyes off the twins mister!! If you don't want us staring don't post...... :: drooling :: ....... what did you say?
  13. The reason Colorado wasn't begged to stay is cause they are like that obnoxious juvenile delinquent step child you have and can't wait to turn 18 for them to leave.
  14. I agree that'll be a game you don't want to miss
  15. now that would be funny. I've always thought of Colorado as that step child you never wanted but couldn't get rid of
  16. I hope it wasn't Mark Manguino (hope I spelled that right) why are you looking at his crotch? lol
  17. is anyone else picturing Bebee sitting on De Los Dodds lap sucking his thumb hoping for good news?
  18. I'd like to see TO have a press conference where in the background is the head of a Bull looking like Bevo on the back wall. He strolls up to the mic says F*ck Texas.......oh yea Bevo tasted good. Then walk away.

    ESPN

I've been watching ESPN through out the day. Just seen on the ticker tape at the bottom Nebraska will discuss leaving the BIG 12 at a meeting on Friday. So I bet if there is a press conference it's sometime Friday.
  20. Correct me if I'm wrong and I often am. But are we upset with the Big 12 not sharing revenue evenly or is mainly because Dan Beebe is blowing Texas? If it's the second guess then I'm not all surprised that we was in favor of the non equal revenue share. Looking at the vote passed 6 - 2 obviously we were not the only ones. We would probably vote the same today. No, we agree with Texas on TV revenue. ok I thought it wasn't the revenue part lol

    Big Ten

would this include the one I bought from the pawn store. Or do you think I need to earn it? If you say earn it I'm screwed
  23. Unless, of course, either a) the Big 12 implodes or b ) the world ends on Dec 23, 2012 I'm sure Texas can handle that. They ruined South West Conference, Big 12 Conference. So i'm sure they can ruin the Pac 10 and destroy the world 12/23/2012
  24. I can see why they would want to go to Jerryworld as it is a brand new, very nice stadium from what i've seen on tv. But what I don't understand is since we have 4 NFL teams in the Big 12 area that we don't have it a rotating championship. Granted Denver, Kansas City and St Louis their stadiums arn't as new but they are usuable.
