  1. Sorry, there's only one and he plays in the NFL.
  2. This isnt possible. NCAA rules state that there must be some form of visible number on both the front and back of the jersey. Oh, well, disregard that point then. I didn't remember the Michigan jerseys having a number from the top of my head.
  3. I like them. Something different, just for one game. Although if the pants were white or black they would be almost perfect. I'd grade them a solid B. Docked for: - Numbers on chest. Should have just left it as the "N" - Unitard look. Pants should be White or Black. - Socks. - Faux shoulder swoops. Which the loops would have gone all the way around.
  4. I watched the games against EWU and Hawaii, as I am living in the Seattle area. Against EWU, a FCS school, the Huskies were lucky to come out with a win--only a Trufant interception in the endzone saved the Huskies. The entire Husky team looked flat and price only threw for 102 yards. Against Hawaii, a team Fresno will most likely beat in the WAC, UW won by a whole 8 points. Again, not very impressive. UW is going to play a completely different team in Nebraska this week. The "Price" is wrong, B****!
  5. INT in the End Zone by Desmond Trufant. UW wins 30-27
  6. 40 seconds remaining in the 4th. EWU at UW 25. Score 30-27 UW.
  7. For those outside the Seattle area: Washington is playing the Div II National Champs Eastern Washington and are up 20-13 early in the 3rd. EWU is marching down the field and are at the UW 25.
  8. I was listening to the local ESPN station with Brock Huard (ex-Husky QB) and Mike Salk while they were doing a Husky preview show while I was walking around Lake Washington. I was taking a break from doing some design work and like to clear my head with ESPN sports radio over something like Pandora. They were predicting 8-9 win Husky team and were certain that the Huskies will go into Lincoln and come back with a win. They were using words like "should" and "will". I know the Husky team is growing up, but they also lost their best player in Locker. Their strength of running the ball matches up with the strong Huskers front and their weakness of their defense does nothing but help the Husker offense. Living out here I don't get much Husker news except for what I can see on the forum, ESPN, and Omaha.com, but I just don't see how the Husky media can be that confident going against my Huskers. Am I missing something?
  9. It's also the first time in seven years the Huskies have been in a bowl. That plays a big part into it.
  10. The Big Ten Conference is a union of 11 world-class academic institutions – 12 beginning in 2011-12 Should read - The Big Ten Conference is a union of 12 world-class academic institutions – 13 beginning in 2011-12 Somebody forgot about the University of Chicago.
  11. Now you know how Seahawks fans feel after Superbowl XL in 2005.
  12. Sure, give the players compensation, but take away their athletic scholarships. If they can get an academic scholarship great - if not, I hope they can pay the tuition, board, meals, gear, and their weekly stipend with their compensation and not complain. They already get close to $80,000 a year in compensation. If they don't like it, they don't have to play.
  13. Try 1150AM KKNW... they have an online stream. It's based out of Bellevue, WA.
  14. We saw this guy, that was awesome hair. He's a well-known Seattle Sports fan icon (we have a few). He is a really nice guy, usually comes into my friends bar by Qwest before the game and gets the crowd into a frenzy with Mr. & Mrs. Seahawk and a few other characters. He does the same thing for the Seahawks games, sitting in the front row of the south endzone of Qwest field next to "Big Lo" Seattle's "biggest" (literally) sports fan. Edit: Yes, it is his real hair.
  15. I must retract my previous statement. I plead ignorance as I had not seen Martinez play in person before and had relied on Nebraska Radio. Martinez and Locker aren't even in the same ballpark. Martinez wins by a mile.
  16. ESPN's funniest moment was when Jesse Palmer called the Nebraska Defense the "Blackhawks." I think he just got tongue tied because he was just talking about how they were a ball hawking defense.
  17. They are tearing it down at the end of 2011. In 2012 the Huskies will play at Qwest Field and should have a new stadium sans track in 2013. The overhangs should still be there as it is a mark of most of the stadiums in the area because of the rain. Even High School stadiums have the awnings over the stands.
  18. Hate it. Nebraska shows more class than this.
  19. The Hyatt is really nice. My girlfriend and I stayed there when she had a company Christmas party there. Very modern.
  20. The visitors section is in the west end zone (opposite of the lake), although I think there will be plenty of read mixed in on the sidelines.
  21. Welcome! I am pretty much the opposite. Grew up in Nebraska until 1997 then moved to Washington. I went to my first Huskies game my first weekend here when the Tuiasosopos dragged me along.
  22. Locker's first couple years he played pretty much like TMart. It wasn't until Locker missed most of his Sophomore season and Sark got there that he slowed down and stopped running the option and started working on his pocket presence. I think most will be surprised of his speed and agility if he does run at all - Sark hasn't had him in the spread option much in the last year.
