  1. One of my problems with all these candidates is that the discussion is about them and their personality traits. But what policies do they support? Unfortunately, personality seems to be more important than policy when it comes to electability.
  2. We have Copeland, granted he may not be eligible the first half of the season.
  3. According to Gallup polls Trump is barely below where Obama averaged his entire presidency. Trump is at 40% approval right now, Obama started his presidency much higher (60%) till the meat of his presidency where he dropped to between 40-47% on a consistent basis. He then ended around 55% the first 3 weeks they continued polling in January Comparing the beginning of Trump's presidency to the middle of Obama's is comparing apples and oranges since Presidents almost always receive higher approval ratings at the beginning of their presidency. Trump's average approval rating for the first-quarter was 41% which is the lowest first-quarter approval rating Gallup has ever recorded. In comparison, Obama's approval rating through the first-quarter of his presidency was 63%.
  4. I agree with your definition of the base but I disagree with your assessment of Trump's primary voters. This article shows that Trump primary voters were fairly wealthy so it is unlikely he was heavily reliant on union or unemployed votes. This article refutes the idea that he was drawing more primary support from Democrats than previous candidates. Finally this article shows that although he did receive a lot of votes from people that don't normally vote in the primary, his voters did typically vote in the general election. I'd say that voters who typically skip the primaries but vote Republican in the general election would still count towards "the base" but you may disagree on that point.
  5. I sincerely hope that Spicer isn't receiving intel on those kind of details.
  6. The right coach can turn things around. Look at South Carolina this year.
  7. One #1 seed Villanova two teams seeded #2, #3 or #4 Louisville, Kentucky two teams seeded #5, #6, #7 or #8 Iowa State, SMU two teams seeded #9, #10, #11 or #12 Wichita State, Rhode Island two teams seeded #13, #14, #15 or #16 Vermont, Winthrop
  8. Im not saying I dont believe you, but I couldnt find anything. Can you direct me to where you saw this? Link
  9. Other than the fact he has been given 5 years and has won fewer games than Doc...fire him There has not been any NBA talent on this team for a long time. I have had season tickets and this is the best talent since Nee. And please Doc coached in the Big 12, which had a few good teams. Bringing in talent hasn't been the issue for Miles. He just hasn't been able to develop it and consistently gets outcoached come game time. I think he relied quite heavily on Craig Smith. The difference in talent between the B1G and Big 12 isn't much. The Big 12 has a higher RPI this year.
  10. Prototype is just the ideal mold for the position. Those guys you listed aren't prototypes they are outliers at the position due to their physical freakishness. Not really. Here's a list of 3-4 OLB draft prospects. Most are above 250 and all are above 230.
  11. Descriptors courtesy of my Chrome extension left in for hilarity's sake. But you get the point. It appears the source of Trump's accusations is Breitbart. Breitbart's source was Mark Levin of conservative radio fame. Who put a very specific tortured definition of what the wiretaps were for to frame it as the the Obama administration spying on the Trump campaign. He's getting wound up and chasing ghosts based on something Bannon's own media empire pulled from conservative radio. We're in Bizarro World. Bloomberg is reporting that he did get the story from Breitbart: Link
  12. Already deleted. He reposted it. Not sure if he changed anything:
  13. I'm not optimistic that he's capable of doing that. He's pulled off brief spurts of acting somewhat presidential during the campaign only to regress back to his normal tendencies. He has already resumed his normal twitter behavior.
