  1. Middle of the lineup slumping. Tough to win many games when 3,4,5 don’t get a hit. Better now than in a few weeks.
  2. USC medical staff has been through the wringer lately (just settled a $852 million sex abuse lawsuit) - so reporting of misdiagnosis is not surprising. https://www.npr.org/2021/03/25/981435791/usc-agrees-852-million-settlement-to-end-sex-abuse-litigation
  3. Never heard of most of those guys... but Benhart is the RT, duh!
  4. Add in Martin - who I think is in for a big season with a lot of catches. Wouldn't be surprised to see Toure lead in yards but Martin in catches.
  5. Thanks. I had not heard that about Diedrich.
  6. Bolt confirmed today that Nebraska has put in a bid to host a regional as the sites are predetermined this year.
  7. With the number of freshman running backs, I wouldn't be surprised to see 1 (or maybe 2) leave after the spring (or get pushed out). I'm not giving up on him but I wouldn't be surprised to see Rahmir Johnson explore other options depending on his spot on the depth chart.
  8. I'd agree with 1-4 but I don't see Black making an impact this year or even next year. I'd slot in Alante Brown or Will Nixon in the 5th spot.
  9. The Athletic's mock draft released today has Jaimes going 123 overall to the Philadelphia Eagles (4th round).
  10. A more important question - where can I get that script Nebraska sweatshirt Cam was wearing in his interview? That is straight !
  11. Normally happy with a series win - but would love to see a sweep this week which should be the goal against Penn State.
  12. Bunz has been extremely clutch in relief this year. In 3 games series if we can get to the 7th with a lead I feel pretty comfortable with handing the ball the Bunz and Schwelly to close it out. Still needing another reliever to step up in the 4 game sets. Is Diederich on the self with an injury? I was fairly impressed with him in relief at the beginning of the season but haven't seen him since.
  13. Yes, it is a good thing we have some depth at safety with Farmer/NPG/Gifford pushing for playing time. I don't think its a matter of 'if' Dismuke or Williams get ejected for targeting but 'when'.
  14. Likely be the 3rd linebacker and major special teams contributor/starter. Between him and Henrich for the 3rd linebacker spot.
  15. Me too! Next years team could be very good with him back. But good for him.
  16. Bolt believes this will be Schwelly’s last year. What a year he is having!
  17. Isn't that a Frost quote? Or at least I know I've heard Frost utter it. Its always a good thing when your leaders/players are using the same quotes as the coaches.
  18. Agree - Schreiber has not looked good in the pressure situations this season. Hopefully Bolt starts to go away from him in the 8th inning. Was impressed with Cam Wynne’s stuff for the first time this season.
  19. The top teams in the country did pursue Smothers... I believe Alabama and Ohio State both made a late push for him.
  20. I missed where I stated Wisconsin is a juggernaut. Instead, anything that could be read into my statement (and deedskers) is a level of consistency that's been maintained by Wisconsin since Alvarez has been AD with the multiple coaching changes.
  21. I get it - but Norman, OK has nothing on Lincoln, NE (or Omaha). OKC is close to Norman but he's in for a rude awakening if he thinks Norman will be much different.
  22. CTB will also have a larger role on special teams and returns this year as well. May lead to a couple extra series for the backup to get in as a result.
  23. Jaws - no. I think it speaks to the system Alvarez installed, kept in place, and continued to hire to as the AD. As deedsker points out, the coaches may have changed but the system and process for the program stayed the same.
  24. I definitely think the bolded is what we will see.
