Why does everything have to be all or none?!!?!? Why can’t we see some good in frost and hope and trust in trev to compliment him with good coaches

I’m not a frost supporter but I’m an optimistic husker fan. I am not saying he’s the answer or that he’s not the answer. My hope…. He does what everyone here and everywhere is saying he should do. Hire a solid offensive coordinator and find an identity. A blind man can see we have improved over the past 7 years….. we are faster, competitive and capable of winning every game. We are literally in EVERY game. We aren’t blown out and embarrassed by people like we were under Bo. Is the record there?!?? GOD NO!!! Do they pass the eye test?!?! Absolutely. You can’t argue he’s doing some things right!!! Hire the right guy to assist him and make him better and find an identity!!! I don’t think we’re as awful as so many in here portray we are. ridicule me all you want…. But you will also look like a bitter loser who just wants to bring others down to your misery.

He told the offensive line to lose their block? He told the punt team to let the guy in and block the punt? He told the 5 defensive players to drop their pics? Why would he say those things?!?! If he is, you’re right I question his coaching methods.

None of what your said is wrong. You are 100% correct. We had fans on here calling for his head year one. They are still calling for his head!!! Look at the schedule, anyone would say that this was an impossible year to grade a coach and hold him to his record. He is far more competitive than anyone other coach we’ve had in the last 20 years. We don’t have blowout loses and we are in games till the very end of every game. Ohio state was up 49-0 in the second quarter!!!! That’s something we’d have seen from Bo. We are close, so very close. This team is fast, strong and competitive against multiple top 10 teams. My hope is that the fire we saw in frost on that no call pi will ignore this team. Scott and his team will play with a little anger and something to prove. They have a year or two to prove they have a killer instinct and I think they show it!

Devaney did it in an offseason a long long time ago. The nature of college football is different now, the degree in which they play in is different..... the Nebraska tough boys aren't enough anymore. We need finesse and playmakers from other states. Roster restrictions are also a real thing. Can he turn it around with new coaches? Absolutely!!! I still say one of our biggest issues is discipline and being held accountable....we make stupid mistakes. That being said, It needs to turn around NOW. Year 5 should be a winning season at a minimum

I’d be curious if the “restructuring” of the contract allows for more money for assistants and less for him. I think they are going to open up the pocket book and get splash hires.
