Normally a team like NU would start out giving 10, just because of the homefield advantage. So, in my mind, Vegas thinks this is going to be a hell of a football game.

If NU goes out and rolls UT this weekend, the hype bandwagon will be VERY full and be headed full steam ahead. If we lose this weekend, look for us to drop to 15-20 and not be spoken of much again the rest of the season. Especially if Martinez comes out flat. I personally think we might see the best Husker team we've seen in a decade or more this weekend. When these guys (coaches on down to the players) focus on a task at hand, they look freaking good! Just look at the UT game last year, talent-wise, we had no business being in that game, but they just fought and fought and fought and played the game their coaches told them to and SHOULD have won that game. Look at the UW game and the KSU game, both times they were the sexy upset pick and they came out dialed in and completely wiped the field with both of them. I think we're seeing the pieces fall in place with this team and this staff and I really think we could be in for a fun ride. BUT, remember, we have a QB going through his first season at this level, there WILL BE ups and downs, no way around it. But, if the trend continues, the ups are going to GREATLY outweigh the downs! GO BIG RED!!!

I love this, I love all the radio/news dorks that think that by other teams "rooting" against NU, it really matters. I mean, if I sit down and "root" for someone, does it really change the outcome? People have hated us and "rooted" against us since the beginning of organized football, so what?!? UGH, I hate KC today. I can't wait to run the table, take their trophy and get the hell out of dodge!

Yes. Everyone around here (I'm in KC) picked Bo as being a failure at Nebraska, said he was too hot under the collar to be a good game manager, too brash to sit well with the Husker Nation, just had failure written all over him. Well, here we sit....... Let the haters hate my man!

It will take a turnover fest on the part of NU to lose. I'm even on board with taking the ball out of Magic's hands and letting Roy/Rex run loose. You can count on it that Snyder will have a decent scheme for Martinez (although ksu has a HORRIBLE time stopping mobile QB's) but that will open up our two VERY fresh running backs. I also like our chances with our bigger WR's/TE's on their DB's. Get them the ball on short, safe throws, which TM has shown to be above average at, at times. Open it up just a bit and we SHOULD gash them with the running game, their run D is pi** poor.

Every one picks the Huskers and none are within 10 points. Even the KSU beat writer sees it the way most of us do, ksu just doesn't have the talent or the depth to win this game, without us beating ourselves with turnovers. They MIGHT keep it close for a half, but I see us wearing them out and manhandling them the second half, maybe sooner.

Our defense is going to be more fired up then anything after hearing the reports that DT is gonna run through them. :bonez :bonez Yeah, it seems like our D loves to play anyone who gets mentioned with Heisman. I like our chances....a lot.

Here's a few more to chew on... - KSU, which typically has one of B12's best special teams units, wins the field position battle thanks to some big kickoff and punt returns. SELL - KSU wins time of possession. SELL - Huskers commit less than 40 yards in penalties. BUY - Huskers do not fumble once the entire game. SELL

You see, there's these bears. Now most bears are about here (waves hand around waist level). These are your average bears - and there's nothing wrong with these bears. Nothing at all. Alright man, we'll agree to disagree on this one. After watching all 4 Husker games and watching 3 of the 4 KSU games (I missed the MO ST game) from whistle to whistle, these teams aren't close. We may struggle, you just never know, hell we struggled with SDSU, however, if both teams play to their capability, it won't be close. BTW you come off as a total ass, just FYI. I've simply been stating my opinion and backing it up with what I've seen as the season has progressed, yet you feel the need to call someone you have NO CLUE who they are a moron? i want to see gallons of gravy in this one because of the national viewers that can solidify nebraska's spot in the top 10 and maybe even top 5 soon. who knows Me too, I want a statement win in this one. Put the rest of the country on notice and especially the rest of the big 12 that the race in this league is for 2nd place!!!
