  1. Have to catch everything thrown to ya and not deflect to the defense to be good. Not the best ever... Best we have now
  2. Fryar was pick number 1 in draft.
  3. Should do the Iowa thing... Kirk Ferentz says " You visit... No scholarship for you!"
  4. I don't what games should have beem... They all have beam... Jim Beam!
  5. Let's hope we see a "Punt return" for once!
  6. Seems like this young man has his poop in group. Ivy league opportunities, Stanford and Wisconsin to boot. Seems quiet about his recruitment not starving for attention like some of our commits and potential commits. Coaches obviously see a fit in the program for David.
  7. Wyatt Mazour (aka... "Lil Woodhead") to the rescue! What happened with the hype from spring with him?
  8. Was very unimpressed with his offer list... Made me question why we offered. That article makes me think we might be getting a steal in this kid if he commits.
  9. Tre not being available stinks. Run game will be available against a lightweight D-line of NIU.
  10. Need this kid! Think we wiffed on '18 O'line recruiting so far. Going to have to stock pile line men in this class.
  11. “David is very explosive for how long he is, and his football IQ is so high that he is usually in the right place at the right time,” Woodbury coach Andy Hill said. “His biggest strength is probably rushing the passer, so most teams will double or triple team him or try to sprint out away. He still gets there, but the offense pays a lot of attention to where No. 5 (Alston) is lined up.” Hill tells coaches Alston is the first prospect he’s had with zero red flags on or off the field. Instead of racking up scholarship offers for the sake of it, Hill said, Alston chose to zero in on a few schools where he thought he’d fit best. The Huskers, Wisconsin and Stanford are near the top. Hill said Alston was “very intrigued” by his unofficial visit to Nebraska in the spring. “David is very mature and analytical in his thinking, which is why he doesn't rush to make a decision,” Hill said. 12. Wiltfong dropped a crystal ball for NU. Something's up.
  13. I remember Oz having nagging back issues this spring that carried over from late last fall. Trouble making cuts, legs would go weak.
  14. Forgot about Lavon Alston leaving last year too
  15. This Especially the last one. Down by 1 score with no time outs and time running out. DPE had a huge opening to his right.
  16. Yes please! This is the kinda kid Iowa turns a first round pic. Go get'm Cav!
  17. I started this topic with the intention being on the health of Tre after hearing he sat out Mondays practice after he had that many carries. He's a stud! We haven't had that productivity out of a back in while. His 192 yards came on yards after contact and I can't find his longest rush. Don't rember him busting a big one. Some one help me out with his longest. Wilbon had 2 carries for 15 and a score. Has any one heard if Tre retuned to practice?
  18. Where is the confidence coming from? Alcohol and a sex life that's on point.
  19. Williams is a corner... Showed well at the opening. Crosswell, Dallas Craddieth, Griffth, Addison, and Hufanga are all high on the huskers. With a recent offer to Craddieth. Think we're in on some serious safety talent.
  20. Ironic that the Canes are running due to a hurricane from a mid major opponent that would have tested them... Just saying
  21. Who else was looking forward to watching Miami at Arkansas St. for a measuring stick. Can't believe they cancelled the game.
  22. Word is we might be full at CB. Looking for 2 safeties Was supposed to visit late July with family after FNL and was expected to commit. That never happened. Think we might be set with Goodrich, Williams and Bookie.
  23. National perception of the program will be exactly what it is until until we start producing wins or at least show up in games that matter. Last year's Ohio States woodshed beating, Iowa beat down and bowl game was an example of where we're at as a program. Rember we received 1 vote in AP poll. Article made a good point. As a program in whole... No!!! On the defensive side I would say yes. Riely made staff changes that needed to happen. Hough's, Stewert, Reed, and Banker were all upgraded. Parella was a steal in my opinion on the defensive front and already has shown he can recruit...D. Thomas. D. Williams is one of if not the best secondary coaches in the country. We'll probably end up with the best secondary class in the nation due to his recruiting ability. Booker... Yet to be determined. Then there's Bob Diaco. One of the best D coordinators in the country. The only remaining original staff member is Trent Bray. Who almost bolted for a D coordinator gig at SD St. That's allot of new coaches on the D. So in that aspect of article I'd say we did rebuild. Offensively we're definitely progressing. We're going to see depth on the O'line, Q-back, running back, and tight ends. WR is shallow.
  24. Not complaining that a RB had 31 carries. Complaing that a back that only had 43 carries for 172 yards ALL of last season, sat out of fall practice due to "wear and tear" issues with his knee and sat out of practice Monday due to swelling on his knee.
