  1. The o-line completely owned the line of scrimmage the first half. Rex was hitting the second level untouched consistently. This offense does not have the personnel to overcome mistakes (penalties, dropped passes, fumbles, bad field position, missed assignments). I actually think they will be decent next year. We'll see I guess.
  2. I think he got off the ball better than Fonzie. The thing that I thought was most impressive is how Fonzie ran him down multiple times.
  3. I think the blaring similarities in both of these games was NO PASS RUSH. I remember watching Prince/Blackmon and how much it reminded me of backyard football. After an eternity, the WR is going to get open.
  4. How's that fantasy land working out for you? We sucked out loud today. A 17 point loss can't just get chalked up to bad breaks that could have gone either way. We were nowhere near good enough to beat the Gamecocks. Did you watch it? A fumble in the redzone which would have likely made it first and goal and a hail mary prayer touchdown?....Fantasy? Ok....I guess.
  5. How am I simplifying it too much? We had 9 wins and not one of them was very impressive but we had 4 losses which were pathetic. I guess maybe I am simplifying it because it seems pretty cut and dry to me that we aren't very good. We haven't been very good under Bo Pelini and Im not sure what is going to change. My mistake...have since corrected
  6. It's tough to watch teams year in and year out that are they own worst enemy. After watching the season and today's game, I think this team could beat or lose to any team in the country. Impossible to predict the beat/lose.
  7. I have been all over Martinez for the last year and a half. I don't know how anyone could possibly think he hasn't improved in this year. I won't be one of the guys calling for a new starter next year.
  8. 1. Bo still has not met a team that is a tougher opponent than his own team. 2. Although very very improved, Taylor has gone from making mistakes under pressure to flat out eating a sack. 3. Taylor is afraid to take a hit. 4. No pass rush makes any offense look good. 5. Penalties and turnovers decide another Husker loss. 6. Thanks for the memories Cassidy and Thorell. Good luck selling insurance.
  9. I have been saying it all year and I'm not going to waiver. I don't think our DB's are that bad. We need to get any kind of pressure on the QB. I think this is the biggest factor that will decide the game and I'm surprised no one is talking about it. Bo has taken the reigns of the D back and he has had some time to prepare. I'm really looking forward to see what he has come up with.
  10. I still can't believe this has transitioned to Solich compared to Mack Brown. Different Schools Different Administrations Different Points in their career Different Points in the programs Different sets of athletes on each team and on and on.
  11. Dude, this is a Badgerfan post.
  12. I have one from my peewee team in 1991. We were league champs. I think all the sigs are there. I will send you my paypal info if you are interested.
  13. Typical Bo. Ross Els is in Ohio. He should have brought in Frank Beamer. Frank is the best special team coach in the country. You suck Bo.
  14. What a dumb post. Don't worry, I've had my fair share as well. Using your logic you could probably capture about 99.4% of coaches in college football.
  15. I just want to add............. Suh was pedestrian before Pelini got here. He was a starter in the Big 12 and that is it. The ability was always there and he occasionally showed it. He was far far from one of the best that ever played the game. Not to mention he was a time bomb (kind of like now). The second thing I haven't seen posted that kind of surprises me in Prince Amukamara. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the best Husker corner in the last 10-15 years a receiver when Pelini arrived?
  16. 'What did we Learn' Threads follow every Husker game. The best are usually the threads that follow a loss. That's when the experts come out.
  17. Why the hell did Bo hire Zook/Stoops? How did TO allow him to spend so much money on these duds? Didn't he see how how they did at Illinois/Arizona. He's on the way out. What a loser?.
  18. The true difference is Pelini is taking back the D. Pelini.. Yes, they have similar resumes, but Frost and Poochies & Krysolowskinsonington are not going for the same position. Obviously, this all my opinion.
