  1. 1. Our receivers are not reliable. 2. Austin Cassidy falls for every play action. Average tackler at best. 3. Maher can fake an injury when he drops a punt. 4. Martinez works toward the pressure when in the pocket. Something I have never seen. 5. As bad as the defense has been Baker, Martin, David, Stafford and Dennard are strong. 6. Compton is getting better.

  3. It was a great game between two amazing football teams and right now they're both still the best in the country in my mind. People can complain that it was boring or a turd of a game but that's good defense for you and watching both Bama and LSU play the crappy teams its clear that they have the offense to turn it on when they need to which just makes that game even more impressive. I do agree with some later posts that Oregon looks to be getting better, but that would be a rematch as well. Throw me in there as another person who was on the edge of their seat during this game. Both these teams play defense at the highest level in the country. I don't think I have talked to one person that hasn't called this game unwatchable. Their eyes glaze over when I tell them how in to it I was. I have to admit I am torn on a rematch, but right now I see no reason to not have one...that could easily change.
  4. I guess I don't understand what your point is. Is that you can't/shouldn't be the best team in the country if you have 2-3 loses? What is your definition of deserving? Isn't making it through a play off deserving? Please clarify.
  5. Every team can still go to a bowl. As you fall out of the playoffs, those teams would play in a bowl. The championship game would be a bowl as well. You can have both. I did this last year. Assuming all higher seeds won.
  6. How anyone thinks they can build a consistent winner around Tebow is beyond me. I think it is pretty cool what he has done, but it will not win you a superbowl. Last time I checked, they were trying to win a superbowl.
  7. I remember when I first read Adrian Smith's bio several years ago. I just stared at the monitor as I tried to figure what has this guy ever done. I'm sure he's wealthy now too. http://en.wikipedia....Adrian_M._Smith I'm not making any insider trading accusations against him. It is just unfortunate that politics has become such a lucrative career.
  8. Man, if only that first-year OC at Clemson would have been interested in Nebraska! What a hoot that would be! We would hire him immediately, Bo would never turn a guy like that away if they were interested. While I don't disagree with either of you, I think you are over simplifying what they do. Things have really worked out in both teams favor. Clemson got lucky that they struck gold with an unproven QB, the best true freshman receiver in the country and some decent running back play. Oregon has been bailed out by a back up QB, a back up Running back and a true freshman receiver they call 'Black Mamba'. Clemson's luck reminds of Auburn's last year. Clemson probably won't be a one and done though.
  9. An objective study that picked random businesses... not one done by a hack right wing rag. I wasn't able to track down a single story that indicated that any business owner/manager in Zuccotti Park was pleased that this group was damaging surrounding property, crapping in the streets and fostering an atmosphere that encouraged customers to go elsewhere. I will keep looking. This story cites actually names and not anonymous sources which a lot of you love.
  10. LMAO... the NY Post (a right wing tabloid rag) found 12 people to complain about the demonstrations. How many would work for you....... 13?
  11. If you read the thread: 'Objectively……..What few teams CAN’T we compete with….?? some on the board think the Huskers could beat Alabama, Oregon and Okie State (Well....They did last year, so they could this year???). I for one would hate to face K-State. They play 4 quarters.
  12. Occupy Wall Street costs local businesses http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/item_Wq8d8Q0M0W98jwaQAVPvYL
  13. You beat me to it....I laughed pretty hard when I saw this.
  14. Robinson has taken a beating this year and he has had to come out several times. They need to hit him early and often. I don't think he throws real well when pressured. We need to man up and bring as many as we can.
  15. They are in the 1%. The bottom 1%. It's nice to see Sinead O'Conner is back. Get a job losers.
  16. I agree BIGREDIOWAN. That formation was extremely effective against Ohio State. And I did see us use it once today against Penn State, but that was about it. To me it just doesn't seem like there is a method to Tim Beck's playcalling. I doesn't seem like we have a concept of having one play set up another play, and so on and so forth. Don't get me wrong he called a great game against Ohio State & Michigan State, but if you look at the season as a whole I just don't see where he or the coaching staff is trying to take this offense just yet. That means it should work all the time against everyone....right? I like Beck and will continue to back the guy. As Taylor continues to get better (never thought I would say that), I have enjoyed Beck's game even more.
  17. Go back to sleep, then take your meds before touching the keyboard. Once you acquire some semblance of coherence, do a search on oil spills (the subject of concern in this thread). To make it easier on you, the link below is one such search: http://search.yahoo....-8&fr=yfp-t-471 While I find your research intriguing (typing oil spill into Yahoo), I was looking for a little bit more than that. I'm of the opinion that comparing the Deep Water Horizon to Keystone XL is much like Fukisima to Fort Calhoun. Get some sleep and take med, typing oil spill into yahoo......ignorant. I rest my case. Maybe an article like this may be more appropriate. http://www.adn.com/2010/05/28/1298543/alyeska-awaits-federal-ok-to-restart.html
