    Had a random nightmare that we lost to Northwestern last night. No idea how or why, but needless to say, i woke up in a frantic sweat.

    Undefeated at home, 0-5 on the road. I really hope we can beat a struggling K-State team in Manhattan on Wednesday!

    Saw Kyler Reed in Wal-Mart yesterday buying toilet paper. I was tempted to toss a roll at him to see if he would catch it (like on The Little Giants), but i chickend out.

    2008: 9 wins - 2009: 10 wins - 2010: Possibly 11 wins. I know everyone is disappointed, but we're moving in the right direction. 2008, we had no defense. 2009, we had no offense. 2010, we were more balanced, but still not up to snuff. We are only getting better.

      We're moving in the right directly defensively. If it weren't for our improved defense we wouldn't have had those wins. Period. Bottom line is if NU doesn't have as vastly improved defense as it has been as fortunate to have you can take away a lot of those wins.

    This game, like all of the others this year, will be won or loss in the trenches. Mark my words. If we do not give our QB time to throw, don't create lanes for our RBs, continue to commit drive-killing penalties, and, defensively, not get pressure on Landry Jones, then we will not win. Not against the Sooners.

    I hope I am wrong, but I am predicting a loss this Saturday. Things have not gone our way this year and I just don't think with our run of luck this year we can pull out a victory. I would love to win this game, but I just don't think that, with our offense being unhealthy, we can win.

      I was hoping all season that we'd end this thing by playing OU.

      Neither of us are playing as well as I'd hoped, but I have a good feeling about our chances today..Maybe the team will rally around CG and play over their heads.

    I sit next to Taylor in my Journalism class and I overheard him talking to his buddy about his ankle. He said it was feeling great and that he has a great feeling about the game. I hope he's right.

      I was sitting next to a couple of girls at the game last week who are in that same class, and they can't get over how they think Taylor is a douche. Sigh..

    Bo was right in calling out the fans. If you were at the game, you can't deny the fact that we were not a factor at all. Honestly, it's not a big deal. Good teams don't need their crowd behind them every game. We shouldn't need our crowd behind us all the time, in fact, we seem to do better when they aren't behind us (on the road).

      Um. Get out of your seat because you're at a football game for one of the best teams in the nation Blaine. God forbid that we don't show new wrinkles in a game that we can walk on the field and win. I was in South Stadium also (sitting with a friend this week, not w/ students) and it was PATHETIC. I thought maybe it was bc I was used to the students, but with BO's callout, doesn't seem like it.

      Yeah the student section sucked. There were times where my friend and I were the only ones yelling in our area. I don't know if a lot of them were cold or what, but it's freaking November in freaking Nebraska, what else would you expect?

      My apologies for not being excited about scoring 20 points against a KU team we should have put at least 50 on. I was up for every defensive snap, screaming my head off. But if i'm supposed to get loud for overthrown passes and seeing our punt team come on, I guess I will.

    I'm glad we won. Our defense is good, but if we really depend on taylor this much for our offense to play well, then we are in trouble.

      yeah...i dont understand ! Why did we have so much trouble running the football against the j-hawks. Granted we did have few yards..but heck didnt seem like we did very well. I think you could tell that martinez was cautious about taking off and running.

      I think it was very apparent that Taylor was injured, and as a result they just dared him to beat them with his arm.

    the longhorn defense is fast. by far the best we've faced. i hope taylor doesn't pull a denard robinson and get stuffed by a pretty good defense.

    as long as we're not looking ahead to texas, we'll be fine. we seemed to do just fine on the road so far this year, just ask seattle.

    Let's be real...it was only Washington. I'm proud of our guys too, but i hope we're not getting ahead of ourselves.
