AM will have an offense that tries and puts less on their QB...he should do well given their RB situation and his own experience. For us though, gimme CT all day long.

Doesn't always equate to better but Bonner is GROWN. We didn't get to see what Crawford could do last year since their QB was a freshman who couldn't throw a lick.

I think the transfer portal will change this slightly going forward because you are trying to fill in gaps. Bonner and Allen are talented enough to see the field this year but we also got 3 portal WRs. At RB we also are set in the 3 man rotation and that wouldn't currently include Ervin or Stepp (someone could leave). So for this year I don't really see anyone who I would put my money on.

No one said we would be B10 Champs if we didn't play Ohio St...its the fact they are 80-5 in conference over the past 10 years so it's basically an auto loss if you play them in a crossover game. Which makes it much harder since it counts towards your record to try and win the division. It will never be exactly even but the big gaps in who plays who has been laughable.

Protected rivalries are dumb...doesn't even out the scheduling that way. And if we go to 8 games it makes it even worse with lopsided years cuz we know the B10 doesn't know how to rotate teams to keep it equal. times play Ohio St in regular season since joining the B10 (2011). How do we have 4x more than a team? Nebraska 8 Illinois 6 Purdue 5 Wisconsin 5 Minnesota 4 Northwestern 3 Iowa 2

I said this prior as well and agree. Neville, Grimes, Hardy, and Jones will not finish their careers at Nebraska if I had to guess.

Garcia-Castaneda is hurt...IF we are healthy at TE I don't worry about Voke and Fidone. Brewington, Carnie, Rollins are all decent enough.

We only return 2 WRs who had over 100 yards for us last year...

Be decent replacement for Betts...has experience with CT as well. Heard it will be us or Purdue (since Milton ineligibility).

Big loss for Purdue: Purdue's top returning receiver from last season won't be a member of this year's team. Milton Wright, who caught 57 passes for 732 yards and seven touchdowns, has been ruled academically ineligible and is no longer with the program.

Frost is 1-3 in openers so far at Nebraska. Fitz is 2-2 in that same time frame. Nebraska is now -9.5 For reference we were -6.5 vs Illinois last year in the opener.
