  1. lol, comparing Colorado to Iowa is INSULTING to Colorado. They have done more with less than Iowa ever has. I cant stand Colorado, but thats just absurd. Stats dont lie.
  2. Nebraska, OSU, Mich State and Penn State
  3. i dont see Bias as much as I see them grading them on who they are today, not their ceiling. Johnny is very raw! he has a lot of natural insticts that cant be graded, but still has only played QB for ONE season! Had they graded on leadership and how high their ceiling is, I think we can all agree Johnny would be a 5 star. I dont blame them for not jumping him up until they see his Sr season. Most of the QBs above him have 3-5 years playing QB already. What I wouldnt be suprised to see is Johnny have a stellar Sr year and then see his stars/ranking rise. I really hope he goes to Calhoun (qb coach in cali) again next summer. I liek Beck as an OC, not so sure about his QB coaching. I know, its only been one year, but i wonder how he pans out at a QB coach.
  4. not to mention they pulled 2 -4 star CB last year as well. Too bad, he could have played early here, he may not see the field at Michigan.
  5. LordofMemorial, Nicely done sir! +1 I dont care what he looks like when he throws. I want better decisions and accuracy.
  6. Dude, why do you care so much? THis is about Johnny, no one gives a sh#t what you think about some retired QB. Let it go.... Back to Johnny. I think we all know what kind of QB we are getting, why care about stars or ranking?
  7. USC and Mich are getting full, so i wouldnt worry abotu them for too much longer. I would say it will come down to NU and Washington for Mathis. I dont think he qualifies in time, so it probably wont matter.

  9. keep in mind, all these ratings are very pre-mature. These kids havent played a down of their Sr year. Stars and ranking will change over the next 6 months. THey always do.
  10. 24/7 has made leaps and bounds since they started. I like rivals, but enjoy the free articles on 24/7
  11. 19 year old kids, full time student, full time athlete, trying to have a life, Girl friends, doing college stuff, etc. I dont see how they have the time, but grats to the 47 who found time.
  12. We have the talent, that isnt the issue. We just arent using our guys or the coaching has beeen lacking. I think we will see a new line under Rick; under Paps, it wasnt pretty . He may be a scheme genius, but his coaching up players has been seemingly lacking since he got here. Not bashing the guy, but KCHusker has some very valid points.
  13. I didnt mind ESPN until last year when they re-built the site. Now its f'in horrible.
  14. Polls speak for themselves I personally only use 24/7, but want other peoples oninions.
  15. dont worry, 24/7 has that too. I think until he officially names a top 5, they are just guessing who they think he will go to.
  16. i hate the big ones, but you know you can hide each users sig, right?
  17. dear lord! i hope the coaches know what they are doing. If we miss Sandland, and he goes OU, we are fuked....... Awful big gamble, but i hope they can pull it off. Either way, good luck to the kid in Iowa!
  18. sigh do you think it was because we cooled on him; or pulled a "pelini", and told him to wait?
  19. I wouldnt hold your breath. Sandland wants a high powered throwing offense, which we dont have and have never been known to have. My guess is he ends up at OU, in the pass happy b12.
  20. Was probably nice to you cause he whipped yo azz!! Actually, I beat him I was a speed demon in high school. I call bullsh#t(cough, cough)!! Hey, it was my one claim to fame...and if I hadn't pulled my hamstring before conference that year I might have faced him in the state meet 110 Hurdlesas well :| Instead, I have no medals from my senior year. "Yeah... Coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind." - Uncle Rico
  21. I dont have a good feeling about this. I see him playing in the SEC, with his buddy at Arkansas. But, you never know until signing day.
  22. Most of his Cally's kids coached up pretty well either in the NFL or under Pelini. Offense is not as complicated or as large as WC, but the Wide Receivers actually have to read coverage and defenses, the line has several blocking schemes for the same play and formation. We run a lot of different formations. For a first year offense, its complicated. As for players not getting it, Fisher at LB, DB's for the first 3/4 of the season, DE's, WRs not lining up properly and missing blocks, etc. Most of our defensive letdowns came off of missed coverage, missed gaps, not reading the blockers, etc. Defense felt very young and in-exeperienced for being in the system for a few years now. As for this year, recruiting isnt looking good. I am excited about Armstrong and McMullen, and hoping we land Peat; but concerend about the low number this late, no matter if we are only taking 15ish kids.
  23. Thanks for putting that together caveman, i didnt know the averages were so close to each other. My main concern for Bo's recruiting isnt the stars, its knowing what players have the brains to pick up the scheme. Seems like Cally could recruit physically and mentally talented kids...... just couldnt develop or coach any of them. Bo came in and coached the hell out of Callys guys and made a huge impact with them. I am afraid we dont have the brains on the feild we did the last few years. Talent is there, but brains seem to be lacking. Is it the kids not able to grasp it, or is the coaching unable to effectively teach it? I will say Beck has done a decent job with how complicated his system can be (multiple blocking in same play/formations, etc.). I will say that kids seem to love JP, Raymond, Beck, Brown and Els. I just hope they can teach/develop these kids.
