Very cool. But not nearly as cool as sending the seniors out with a win over top-5 undefeated Iowa, or securing a nice bowl invite. We are going to be lucky to have a bowl invite (even if it is all but guaranteed at this point). But a "nice bowl invite" is not in the cards this year. If it's all but guaranteed how are we lucky to have a bowl invite? We weren't lucky to win 5 games. We were unlucky to not win 6 or 7 (up to this point).

Hopefully no starters did anything to warrant not playing.

They're over represented in pretty much every positive category you can think of, and underrepresented in the negative ones. how are the whites under represented in the negative category wise? I'm assuming you're joking but if not I'll mention one: Poverty rate 10% of Whites are in poverty. 27% of Blacks, 24% of Hispanics. It's a problem for Whites but not near as much of one as it is for Blacks or Hispanics. They have much more reason to try to have their voices heard to try to get the problem fixed. Perhaps I should have said comparatively since ideally there would be 0% poverty rate.

I catch someone cheating. No one wants to be that person. Ugh. But I can't stand it when they do it. Most of the time the people who cheat are cheating off people who do WORSE than them. Here's something I haven't seen discussed. (I don't think I've read this thread word for word so forgive me if someone's mentioned it). There are 2.77 million Muslims in the U.S. and we're making a big deal about a few thousand coming here. Don't you think if it was your religion and you heard all of this stuff on the news lately and then heard one of the top presidential candidates suggest shutting down all of your religious buildings, you would be more likely to want to fight for your religion? Who wouldn't want to do that? If you're Christian imagine someone saying they're going to close down all of the churches because the KKK killed a bunch of people. That would put me on alert. I feel like the risk of attacks could increase because of this and not from refugees but from Muslims who are already here and who could have been peaceful. I'm thinking impressionable kids here who are teenagers right now and who have probably already dealt with plenty of bigotry before all of this.

If you choose to drink then you need to understand that the things you do while under the influence may or may not be agreeable to you when you sober up, but it was YOUR decision to drink so you get to live with the consequences of your actions. Seeing as I was replying about how the alleged victim gave a range of 2:30-7 or whatever, and her not knowing what time it was may have been because she'd been drinking, it seems as though you're implying the excuse is for the rape. Getting raped is the consequence of the rapist's actions. Not the person who got drunk. People shouldn't have to stay sober just out of fear of getting raped. If that's not what you meant then I'm not sure what you're talking about.
