  1. I am actually wanting to skip to 2016. The first year usually sucks. We'll see. It's kind of a strange situation. Usually when you have a new coach, he's inheriting a team with a bad record. But Strong and Callahan are two examples of worse records their first years coaching a team with a decent record the previous year.
  2. I'm assuming it doesn't have to be consecutive years. So this would be 1995, 1996 (Dec. 31), 1998.
  3. So you prefer idiots who have to scream to get their points across (and still fail miserably at doing so). Got it. Those of us who actually played football understand he's just a football coach being a coach. I take responses like these as people who never likely never played the game nor understand it at the lowest form. Just my personal opinion. You are do quick to say he yells because he is an idiot? Wow I figured out was because he wants to win and knows how much work everyone has put into preparing to win that it makes him mad when the plan isn't executed and the team doesn't win or make a play. That's what I learned from my coach of football anyways.IMO IMO I've had coaches who yelled and coaches who didn't yell. There are loads of successful college coaches who don't get in their players' faces and scream at them during games. In the games where Pelini melted down and screamed, how often did Nebraska end up winning the game? And what happened when he yelled at referees? Normally he got more penalties. His yelling rarely resulted in something good happening for his team. If it had actually worked, I would be more forgiving. So you really have no moral high ground on this issue? A prostitute feels it's good when the john pays her, if you were a fan of women you'd be ok with that too? Pre-Pelini's parting message, and getting dismantled by Wisconsin again, I was merely annoyed by the neanderthal behavior. Also, I'm a big fan of women. I think they're the sh#t.
  4. He sure is a good-looking fella So you wood? No. Does he need to do some more 'shups or something? I'm not a floozy like all you other people saying you "wood" do anything that moves. *sticks nose in the air*

  7. This is probably the most likely scenario, colonoscopy at age 22. Imani's 36.
  8. Thank you! No one should ever quote an entire OP. If you don't quote a reply, we know you're replying to the OP. (Also on a phone but it's annoying on the computer too).
  9. I nearly ran over a raccoon about an hour ago on the way to Lincoln.
  10. Surrender all whites again? We're 2-1 with them this year.

  12. Two private planes instead of one. Not firing Bo.
  13. If he wants to hire anyone from a team that's playing in a bowl game, maybe he's waiting until their game(s) are done.
  14. I'm scratching my head why people think SE is trustworthy. A good potion of what he has said is lies (see my prior posts and others if you want more detailed break down of why we don't trust him). Firing a coach that has never won less then 9 games in every year he coached and replacing him with one who went 5-7 doesnt make sense to me. I'm struggling to find posts where someone gave factual information on why I should not trust Eichorst. Can you list the post numbers so I can go back and read them? They don't exist. Here's a summary for you: He's a laywer. He has red hair. That's all I've got.
  15. I wish Huskerboard was like Survivor and we could vote people out.

Maybe the mods would allow us to run a contest and toss one person. We could nominate 16 or 32 potentials and then through bracket voting get it down to one poster that actually gets the ban hammer. I like it.

C'mon mods, a little vigilante justice for the board. Sort of an offering of sacrifice to the football gods for relieving us of BP. However ya want to look at it. We want a pound of flesh.

  16. 'Cause it makes a lot of sense for them to ask a guy who doesn't work there anymore whether they should fire a coach.
