  1. I'm sorry...what was Cody Green's record as a starter? I will never understand why people bring this up. Winning a game you started says nothing about your abilities if the meaningful snaps were done by another QB after you were benched. If Berringer had scored a touchdown on the play he threw that interception on in the Orange Bowl and we'd gone on to win that way, no one would care that Frazier had started. It would have been Berringer's win. Oh silly Moiriane...stats are all that matter... Because I said anything about stats, Irafraek
  2. I think the sanctions should be made worse because they're appealing them.
  3. I remember that game too well. That was great. From what I've read though most Huskers dismiss it as a Callahan mishap. Because that's what it was
  4. Nebraska by far. I'm glad we were the home team for this experiment
  5. I velcro mine together and tie them to the car antenna
  6. He's playing football for a living.
  7. That didn't work. Stupid phone. I miss the good ole days, when my computer wasn't broken.
  8. This pretty much sums up my point for me and why I still contend that Peter says a lot of stupid things. All else is NOT equal between what the 90s Nebraska players had and what they have now. He's dumbing it down and saying desire is the only difference and that's BS. He had a coaching staff with decades more experience, and back then Nebraska had a much bigger advantage as far as facilities are concerned. Then there's the fact that the program wasn't in the middle of being resurrected. It was a well-oiled machine. If he's arguing that Bo can't motivate and the evidence is that the teams he was on won NC because they wanted it more, then Osborne apparently took 20+ years to learn how to motivate.

  10. I'm sure there are other factors, but look at states close to Lincoln vs states close to Ann Arbor. Recruits mention proximity as an important factor all the time. Missouri 6 million Iowa 3 million Kansas 2.8 million Nebraska 1.8 million Total: 13.6 million Michigan 9.8 million Ohio 11.5 million Indiana 6.5 million Total: 27.8
  11. Thought about it unless you guys are annoyed. It's not annoying. Just count the days right or in 14 days your countdown will end and we'll think the game is tomorrow and we'll be severely disappointed
  12. Last night I dreamed the First quarter of the Southern Miss game, and I remember getting really mad at him. I had to listen to his stupid voice for the entire dream. More importantly though, the game was tied 5-5 at the end of the 1st quarter. We scored a TD on our first drive, which I realize is worth 6 points, but since it was a dream and dreams are weird, they only gave us 5 points. Then the extra point was blocked. On USM's possession they scored a FG. Then on our next possession, USM got a safety. Now for my favorite part. On our kickoff after the safety, we did an onside kick. Maher kicked the ball into the referee's head and it bounced into a waiting Husker's hands. According to Musberger, since the ref is part of the field, it was perfectly legal.
  13. BC = Barney Cotton JC = ? I'm guessing Jake
  14. I think it's 27 days Anyway, really nice video. Saw some highlights of games I want to go back and watch again I have to complain though. You used a clip of Bill Callahan
  15. And hands. I know the guy was good but unfortunately the fumbles are what I associate with him.
  16. I totally disagree! What he (JP) consistantly says is; "We simply played harder." "We wanted it more." We trained harder in the off season." We had leaders on those teams that took it upon themselves to discipline and set the tone for playing with passion." All of which are true. If we had more players like JP, we would have 13 wins each year. Those things are dumb, imo. You don't win national championships by "playing harder" and "wanting it more." That is just one of many ingredients. He and his teammates had way more going in their favor than the players we have now (i.e. a veteran staff that had been winning for years). Playing hard might separate a top 1 or 2 team from top 3-5 teams, but to say that's why his teams won championships and subsequent Nebraska teams did not is laughable. It takes a load of different variables to be the one team in the country that's the best, and even luck is a factor. Dumbing it down to the "wanting it more" slogan is just something you say to motivate a 10 year old, or perhaps an 18 year old Jason Peter I totally disagree! 17. It's becoming more and more clear why you're single He sure has my attention. I only date bronies who like the Huskers.
  18. We might have to start censoring posts about his age so the ncaa doesn't come sniffing around
  19. Lookin good, Mr. Burkhead! I give the pic a 9.8/10 I deducted .2 for not flexing his guns in the pic. Also, I used my last +1 on the little pic, sorry. Should've given it a 9.5 because he's wearing Mangino-sized shorts
