    The good news is that if we still had the BCS, we'd have a terrible situation with Oregon/Bama/FSU - where the undefeated team is clearly the inferior one of the three. Playoff solved that.

      Oregon vs. Bama would obviously be the right two teams, but it would cause a big unnecessary fuss.

      The BCS and traditional polls would've given us FSU vs Bama. So this is an improvement.

      I still would've enjoyed the butthurt if Mizzery could have knocked the SEC out of the playoff by beating Alabama.
