  1. And we won't play half these teams until 2013
  2. Much much easier schedule given to us by the B1G for the years 2013 and 2014. Linky link link
  3. Eh, I know so little about the spring game, and for the most part, it doesn't seem like it could affect or should affect how other teams prepare for Nebraska. If they prepare for us based on what they saw in the spring game, they also better prepare to lose by 35 points
  4. Although, I can appreciate and understand where TO is coming from when he says that you don't want to put what you're doing out there so teams can work on you over the summer
  5. Guys this game was over before it started...its a road game.
  6. Mmmtodd is right...no way can they keep shooting 3s like that
  7. Remember when Nebraska could've made the dance? Yeah me too
  8. Also...fouls aren't being called on WSU right now...JBD did what their big man did and got a foul called on him.
  9. Haha...WSU can't shoot those 3s all night...JBD and ubel need to crash the boards...
  10. Finally a 3...and good D...WSU is gonna slow down
  11. This is a very hard and very confusing situation. Unbelievable...
  12. Anybody see that Jon Stewart video about Fox News on the Daily Show a couple of days ago?
  13. The SEC gets pimped by ESPN, and if one of the schools were to get suspended, well then there goes that ESPN money. I can't stand them. Oh well, trivia question time: Who was the last B1G team to beat an SEC team in the MNC?
  14. Barring an extremely awesome Big XII tourney run, beating Kansas, Kansas State and Texas, Nebrasketball should end up being a 2 seed in a fairly easy bracket in the NIT. Not bad for a team with little expectations placed on them.
  15. Eh, just claim that the kid didn't know any of it...and they're good. And if the accusation of this guy sending recruits to Auburn, Baylor, LSU, Oklahoma St, USC and Texas A&M then those schools need to be punished if Oregon gets punished, they can't just make an example of one to make it look "fair" I suppose they're cracking down on Oregon because they came to close to ruining tSEC's consecutive MNC victories
  16. No - the same "myth" exists in recruiting. It's a courtesy shown, provided it doesn't impact your own self interest...in other words - if they could put the Huskers in the tank for 2-4 years while we find another Bo, and at the same time grab one of the hottest up and coming coaches in the game...they'll be doing it. Hate em if you want, but they'll beat you almost every Saturday and in the end that is what really matters. (it's a non-issue because it won't be happening, though hypothetically speaking...) Thanks for the info. Just thought I read somewhere that it was a rule. It won't be happening though...Tressel will end up being alright.
  17. huskeraddict, that's too funny...good thing we won't have to worry about expensive ticket prices.
  18. Isn't there a rule in the Big Ten that head coaches can't go from one Big Ten school to another?
  19. Yeah, that bracket is interesting to look through... I think it's going to take beating Colorado and then making the semifinals to get into the NCAA tourney...maybe just making a close game against Kansas or Texas or aTm would do... -OR- If we lose to Colorado...I think it's going to take making it to the finals to get into the dance...just too many loses and a lot of bad losses for the team to rebound from to make the dance. Here's something interesting...we lost 6 conf. games by a combined 21 points this year: If we won 2 of those games (Texas Tech and Iowa State), we would've been a 6 seed If we won 3 of those games (Texas Tech, Iowa State, and Baylor): we would've been a 5 seed If we won 4 of those games (Texas Tech, Iowa State, Baylor and Kansas State): we would've been a 3 seed If we won 5 of those games (Texas Tech, Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas State, and Missouri): we would've been a 2 seed If we won all 6 of those games (Texas Tech, Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas State, Missouri, and Kansas): we would've won the Big XII regular season and be the number 1 seed. The only game that wasn't close was the Missouri loss so it was very likely, with 4 more FTs or just two more layups, that NU would've been a 2 seed in the tourney and we wouldn't even be talking about "Tournament hopes" we would be talking about which team we would face in the first round.
