I thought T-Mart looked visibly upset after the game was decided. Am I the only one?

This night sucks. This was our bowl game. Still, we had a very good season, and we'll be even better next year. If you want to see what a huge disappointment looks like, then go watch the Callahan era.

We're co-champions...

It just wasn't in the cards. I believe Taylor has the tools to become a great quarterback. He's clearly an explosive runner, and he looked pretty damn good passing the ball against Okie Lite and Mizzou. If not, hopefully Cody, Carnes, Jamal, or Bubba can take the reigns.

Po Belini is clearly a true fan... I have no idea how Cody would have performed. He hasn't exactly played the part of Mr. Calm whenever he's been put into big games or tough situations. It would have been nice to see him get a chance, though.

1) Taylor played poorly. He looked rattled. But unlike past games, he also looked visibly upset at the end of the game. I liked that. It showed he cares about winning. Hopefully he learns from this game and continues to grow as a player. 2) Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice (and again... and again... and again), shame on me. Goodbye Shawn Watson. You're inability to adjust mid-game pisses me off. You're refusal to call what works pisses me off even more. I'll cheer you when you come back, but I'll be cheering even louder when I hear you're leaving. 3) Bo, this loss is on you too. Why didn't you take out Taylor? Why didn't you go up into Watson's suite and kill him? This is your team, and until you get rid of the dead weight the majority of the blame will be on your shoulders, period.

1) I'm proud of our team. They played their hearts out. Beat the crap out of Michigan. 2) To the refs: Thank you. Thank you for not screwing us! 3) Shawn Watson: You suck. Go back to Colorado.

It's fitting, really. Our offense hasn't been able to hold on to the football all year. It finally bit us in the ass.

Some of you guys are making me sick. You don't know T-Magic, so shut the hell up and talk about football. He played bad tonight. He looked rattled. I have a feeling one of our seniors is going to have a Suh-esque game on the defensive end. Prince seems like the ideal candidate, but maybe it's David or Crick?

I'm going to support Taylor until evidence says I shouldn't. As a fan base, don't we ever learn? We bashed Lee for his poor decision making and questionable play last year and now he's one of the favorite players on the team. After learning about his injury it suddenly made sense. We shouldn't let these rumors cloud our opinions on him because we don't know the facts, period.

Great read! Watson and co. should learn from this. Target players who know how to catch the damn football. I know Bo and Carl go after athletes and teach them how to play, but you guys don't know how to teach (I'm taking to you, Gilmore!)

At this point, who knows? I would hate to lose our last game in the Big 12, but if they beat us at our best without the referees help I won't complain. At least we know Stoops and Bo are friends; it'd be hilarious to see the refs try and pull an A&M and have Stoops decline a penalty or two. On the bright side, if we do lose, we're "co-champions," right?

Would shouting "Beebe sucks" be inappropriate?

Tom Osborne's offenses had bad games like Bo Pelini's defenses have bad games. They happened once, MAYBE twice in a season, and other than that were generally very productive and efficient. Furthermore, if Osborne's offense had a bad game, it was usually against somebody like #1 Oklahoma. And they still usually managed to score a touchdown. You can even make a similar comparison to Osborne's teams that Pelini now faces. Osborne always had great offense, Pelini always has great defense. But what got Osborne over the hump was when they overhauled their defensive scheme in the early 90's, and started recruiting more speed. Pelini at some point may have to make a similar decision with his offense in order to get to the next level. Osborne was able to make the change while keeping the same coaches. We'll see if Pelini can do the same. Anyways, Watson's bad games are more frequent, and they're also coming with championship-caliber defenses like the ones Osborne and McBride put onto the field in the mid 1990's. The best equivalent I can think of would be 1983, when Osborne had a ridiculous offense, but a below-average defense cost Nebraska the championship. Thing is, that sort of thing has happened like 5 times over the past 2 seasons with Watson, not just once. Also, just don't ever compare Watson to Osborne. That one isn't even close. You mean like the drastic change that we have seen from 2008 to present now with a predominantly run-oriented QB? Yes, that's exactly what I mean. We just have yet to see if the overhaul is going to work the way we want it to... The main thing I want to see (and I don't think we'll get a real answer to this question this year) is whether or not our current offense works without Taylor Martinez. It seems like it was designed around him, and without him it has struggled. We had one good game against Colorado, but I need more than that. With what Watson has created when it is working it is very fun to watch in my opinion. I would not be able to pull up the article for you, but I read an article awhile ago talking about their study of mobile shotgun QBs and how to implement them and put their own twist on it. So what Watson has done is taken the passing framework of the west coast offense and implemented it with a mobile qb that takes snaps from the gun. We have recruited to this new scheme if you look at our current list of QB commits and the one that we brought in last year. It will work without him. The problem is is that it will not work with a guy that has the skill-set of a Cody Green. That's what's so frustrating. It's clear as day that Cody's not suited to play in the hybrid-spread offense or whatever you want to call it. When he's in the game, play to his strengths.

We'll probably never know T-Magic's true colors; that is, unless he transfers, in which case we'll all label him an a-hole. His arrogance could be attributed to his introverted personality though.

I think we should give Watson one more year. We've had a chance in every game this year; the only reason we lost to Texas was because of our lack of execution. We all know why we lost to A&M. If we're going to fire anyone, it should be Ted Gilmore.

I hope we cheer the crap outta him if we win. Make him feel guilty for the trash he's pulled this year.

What's Frost and Bo's beef?

Not that this isnt true but lets face it, lots of kids at UNL dont like the football players. He could say something like "Hey if you are going down to the vending machine can you grab me a soda" and it turns into "Yeah, so T-mart tried to get me to be his bitch and grab him a soda" You know? All the players I've talked to seem to be pretty humble dudes. Cody's in this video.
