  1. We have the worst possible luck
  2. NW Iowa is a pretty rough 1-2... Rutgers might be the easiest of the 3 if we were to get there lol.
  3. We probably want Minnesota to win, would put us up against Penn St first round with a potential Rutgers match-up second. Lol look at us, talking about winning multiple tourney games.
  4. Interesting, given the video above he states he's not committing until December signing day. Maybe Fong just likes where we sit! Said in the video most of his offers are for OLB. We like him at WR but have talked about both, he's looking forward to watching both Mickey Joseph and Mike Dawson coach at practice this weekend.
  5. You mean like this? It exists, just depends if people keep themselves honest.
  6. Stat from Rivals - as a freshman in the heavy-weight class... Terry went 53-0 with 45 wins by pin. That's freaking nuts.
  7. Lolololol okay sorry, was just having some fun. Back to business everybody.
  8. We are hands down the worst men's athletic department in Division 1
  9. We have 9 true seniors who cannot return after 2022. Everyone else can stay if they wish. That will make incoming class sizes really small, in a hurry.
  10. Give me the twins from UNT and Mathis from TCU.
  11. Terrible take lol. "the QB we got was recruited to ride the bench", not even worth engaging with stuff like that.
  12. We have not been in contact really at all. Has not spoken to Frost since the season ended or any of the new staff, including Whipple, since they started.
  13. Forget where I saw this... Maybe it was Callahan. Anyways, the difference was summed up in man assignment vs zone assignment. Austin and previous staff were notorious for zone schemes, where OL blocked to a location and only hit the man/picked up the blitz in that spot/gap. By nature, this is more reactionary - "wait to see who comes into my zone". Raiola is emphasizing a more man to man approach - fire off the ball to the second level and hit the MLB, for example. That is how I heard the main difference explained, FWIW.
  14. ^ and plan to do the same at the Lincoln Coaches Association meeting this week. Love it. Not sure why it took them 5 years to think that was a good idea, but... we're doing it now, so, can't complain.
  15. I agree that I bet Jurgens thinks that. He made a mistake leaving, IMO.
  16. Highly doubt Toure or Jurgens get drafted. Domann and CTB get drafted higher than you have them, IMO.
  17. Jackson was on a yearly scholarship, coaches could choose not to renew it - which would probably be fine given NIL opportunities and the GI Bill that he could take advantage of (per the guys at Rivals).
  18. For me it's always hard to say guys who already transferred in once are going to transfer out. They're screwed, right? In terms of playing time and having to sit out.
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Javin Wright or Braxton Clark (assuming he doesn't win a job) decide to move on.
  20. My top transfer targets I'm watching after spring: Yant/Stepp (someone has to leave in that room) At least one of Will Nixon/Shawn Hardy/Latrell Neville/Kamonte Grimes Alex Conn/Michael Lynn (OL depth would hurt, but they're not contributing) Probably lose 1 of the ILBs (9 guys for 2 spots right now) Tamon Lynum
  21. You can commend the offseason actions (admitting we have a problem, letting go of dead weight on the coaching staff, hiring some well-known names with great recruiting skills, managing the roster via small high school additions + big transfer class) while still not buying the hype. Those can be distinct. All he's saying is Frost did what needed to be done (and he has struggled to do in previous offseasons). Good on him.
