TJ Alum Husker

I am in KC MO and have comcast. Anyone know if they are going to show the husker games down here?

I can hear it now...papers all over Texas and Missouri saying that Bo is still whining about the loss when it was him that caused it, and how Nebraska is gone and good riddance. Well, now we know the other side of the story. It was plain to see from all of us watching that the Huskers had a target on their backs during the aTm game. While I will miss playing OU, I say close the door behind us and move on to a bigger, better conference.

I'm with you Hujan. I think Carnes is going to surprise a lot of people with his ability. They shouldn't dismiss this guy so soon, just because Bubba is now on campus.

if you drink the kool aid then you say yes it might make a difference. The reality is that he will make a ton more money playing baseball, and he can always come back to college if his mlb career doesn't take off. In addition, if he is looking at the future, the Royals are stocking up on young players and have an excellent farm system (best in baseball). By the time he is major league ready, they will be in the hunt for a division title.

First, the difference here is that Barf is using his position as a "professional" journalist. This isn't a Facebook post. To condemn Husker fans for a few boos is not right. It doesn't represent the overwhelming majority of huskers who are as classy as any out there. Second, the Texas collective consciousness is one of HUGE ego and "better than you" attitude. They deserve a few boos from a program that is every bit as good as theirs.

Not disputing that he ends up a Royal, but the reason will be money. Also, he is not what puts the Royals over the top. They need pitching more than a center fielder at this point.

the superior depth on the D-line, coupled with the lack or experience/depth on the O-line, sure makes me wonder if we did the right thing in having Steinkuhler play DT rather than OT. His talent on the O-line this year would have changed the whole outlook of the O-line by the pundits.

long time lurker, first time poster....his high school highlights look impressive, but he runs pretty high. Hopefully he has learned to lower those shoulder pads and run behind that 250 lb frame!
