This status update thread went nuts this morning!!!  

I'd be curious what they make in the radio business at that local level. I can't imagine it being much at all.

Hemingway I think radio hosts' salaries are dependent on market size and their ratings within that market.  I'm sure the internet, podcasts, and satellite radio have put a dent into the radio business, which puts a dent in the hosts' salaries.  I think some stations can still do very well if they have a strong local following.  I live in Denver, but I listen to The Ticket out of Dallas nearly every day.  I lived in DFW for 2 years over 10 years ago, but I got hooked on their radio station.  They have a great app which I can listen to their station, and I think their radio hosts make pretty good $ (especially, the morning and evening drive time slots).
