As good of a playmaker as we've had in some time on the defensive side of the ball.... I think Gifford will get there, but probably not as a Sophomore.

We'll see, but I think they'll be fine on the DLine. The biggest loss on the team is going to be JoJo Domann. Good luck replacing that guy. The LBs should keep getting better and I don't see any reason the secondary couldn't at least be just as good as they have been this season.

Maybe. But, you also may be underestimating the competitive nature and/or egos of these kind of guys.

I don't think he'd be a lame recruiter at Nebraska, and I think his offense is perfect for Nebraska to. Outside of the combination of he and Scott's buyouts, I'm not sure why no one seems to think he'd come to Nebraska.

That was a Frost problem. I wouldn't turn away an impressive candidate because of that. It's unnecessarily limiting your options.

All that's true, but I think there might be too much being put into HC experience, because of Frost's lack of experience before taking the Nebraska job. It's a nice plus, but shouldn't be a prerequisite.

Yeah, maybe. I wouldn't be appalled by the hire, but a little hesitant. Aranda and Campbell might be the homerun hires.

For the rest of this season? It makes sense. He's almost certainly our best option, especially whens he's booming and not busting. I'd be curious to see how they feel going into next year, if they get another season. Or how Martinez feels about coming back.
