Black Friday is the only time I'm ok with the 11am kickoff. After so many years, it just seems right to play that game early....

Prestigious in what way? Football power? If that's the case, the SEC would like a word with you.... You might equal the SEC, but it wouldn't be surpassed. It takes decades if not a century for this sort of Prestige. ND has been horrible for 20 years yet they are followed and still one of the most popular teams in the country. When most SEC teams drop out of the rankings no one misses them. That conference is overall pretty damn forgettable in the long term scheme of things. The SEC is hardly forgettable now, or in the long term. Overhyped? Sure. The emergence of A&M and Missouri has exposed the myth of the SEC to some extent. Other conferences are closer than most like to think.....

Purdue....Their colors remind me how much I hate Colorado....

No, currently the SEC is better than the B1G. However, "past reputation, and achievements" are a large part of the definition of prestige. So pertaining to this hypothetical discussion of ours, based off traditions, with the proposed additions of OU/Texas.... I would argue it surpasses the SEC in the regard.... However, from the "what have you done for me lately" department, the SEC is obviously supreme.....

None of this probably happens, but adding Texas and OU would make the B1G the most prestigious conference in the country.... Nebraska Michigan Ohio St. Penn. St. Texas OU That is one helluva line-up....

Since I live in Missouri, their success is very annoying to me. The sudden passion, and arrogance of their "fan base" is nauseating. After the Georgia win there were a couple "fans" at work who were already talking about their shot at Alabama, and the possibilities of a national title. It's odd when most of the Missouri gear you see looks brand new. Probably just high quality material.....
