  1. But the deflection of moral and personal responsibility of a woman should supersede the rights of unborn children…. And if we’re being honest, that’s what most abortions are. Talk about ignorance.
  2. If you couldn’t pick up on the sarcasm of that post, I don’t know what to tell you. And it sounds like you take me about as seriously as I take you (and your pals on here), so at least we have that in common. I’ve always felt like I’ve given my honest, rational opinion on here. I don’t worry all that much how it sits with you(s).
  3. Im far from extreme on the situation, I just truly don’t understand why anyone would support abortion outside of the extreme examples of medical emergencies or rape. I’ve tried to see the other side of it, but really just can’t understand it.
  4. He knows today was about STOPPING the death of millions, right?
  5. Ironically, and suddenly, no one is having trouble defining what a woman is today.
  6. Fooooor sure. Which is a hilarious response. I disagree with Nike and Disney’s ridiculous political pandering, but I still give them my money too often.
  7. There’s been a whole lot of hyperbolic whining on the social media platforms today. On Twitter, we’ve already reached the point of tracking which corporations have/haven’t put out statements on the matter. Obviously, I support the decision of the Supreme Court. It absolutely should be a state issue and, in my opinion, abortion should only be performed under medical emergencies, or rape. Outside of those rare instances, abortions are an act of inhumanity, and a gross deflection of personal/moral responsibility.
  8. I don’t take issue with much (if any) of the criticism around the January 6 mess, but I do take some issue with ESPN (and most every other media outlet) downplaying the very real damage caused by BLM riots. The same kind of downplaying that landed Del Rio a hefty fine. If it’s allegedly right-wingers causing the damage during the riots, how can Del Rio’s comments be deemed racist? Did he single out damage done by blacks? If so, I guess I missed that part of his statement. As far as conflating the two events, I think it’s more than fair. There are a number of correlations. Unfortunately for Del Rio, he works in an organization that pretends one of the events (which of there have been many) were justified…. And for the record, I found Del Rio’s downplaying of the riots at the Capital to be incredibly stupid. It overshadowed his completely fair criticism of the BLM riots.
  9. So, was Del Rio fined because he (wrongly) downplayed what happened on January 6th in DC, or because he (accurately) called the BLM riots out for what they are? Either way, a fine is ridiculous. Also, the wording from ESPN in that tweet…. “Invasion” vs. “protests”….
  10. Sounds like Sipple is leaving the Journal Star? For On3 possibly?
  11. There is a very clear issue with those of the Islamic faith in countries throughout Europe. You don’t have to look far to find plenty of examples. The terrorism in Sweden, and the blocking of an Easter procession in Spain, are just very recent examples. Pointing out the clear danger in Islamic ideologies (or at least the interpretation of the ideologies by a large number of Muslims) is not bigoted, and suggesting differently is moronic and an intentional effort to the avoid the obvious. The potential danger of the Islamic faith is obvious to most reasonable people, even popular figures on the left like Sam Harris and Bill Maher. Of course they’re not all bad, even most. But in this situation, the fringe isn’t small.
  12. Mass Immigration, especially from the Middle East, is never a good idea. Poor Sweden meant well.
  13. The mainstream media are arguably the most responsible for the political divide in this country. It is quite fun to watch them shake in their boots.
  14. It’s hard to believe people are this stupid….
  15. That’s an incredibly dramatic breakdown of the texts in that CBS news video. Maybe there’s more to it. She seems to think Biden stole the election, but there didn’t appear to be any attempt to strategize, etc. It’s definitely a bad look all involved, no doubt there.
  16. Is there more to it? Or was that it?
  17. Maybe they should, maybe they shouldn’t. I just think they will.
  18. Did I say I wanted them, or did I say that’s what those get togethers with Congress are, more or less. Let’s leave it up to the OBGYN when he/she is filling out the birth certificate.
