  1. Yes we do need another end, and a quality one at that. His offer list is nice.
  2. We've heard this so many times it's laughable, and from much, much faster teams. You might have some speed, but don't kid yourself, you won't be faster than Miami, or Ohio State, or TCU. Hey man, that's how I feel about NU's speed, especially on offense, IF T Mart can get our perimeter guys the ball. Never once was I comparing NU to those that were mentioned. For you guys, I have some concern about the physical play your O-line. However if I'm wrong I'll be more than happy to admit my error in judgement.
  3. I could see him as a receiver, but not sure what our chances are. I definitely would take him because NU needs to keep speed.
  4. They'd be smart not to kick to him, but you never know Belima may actually do it.
  5. fixed it for you No, I had it right the first time. Dennard is lockdown, need I remind you of the OSU game last year. Blackmon did nothing in the 2nd half because of Dennard. He looked pretty decent out there against Wyo, I just wonder how much rust has been knocked off. If he truly is even close to 100% I like whoever he lines up against. I realize Toon is a big, physical receiver but he doesn't have the same explosiveness as Blackmon, and Fonzie held his own with JB. When healthy Fonzie is an extremely physical and athletic DB.
  6. I'm still not sure how good Wisky's DBs are either because they sure as heck haven't been challenged at all. As mentioned earlier, I know their top corner is out for the season.
  7. Its funny that some Bucky fans seem to think that team speed won't be an issue for them...
  8. Not only this, but they just don't appear to be very fast on defense in general. I love the matchup of Kyler Reed against any of their back seven. I like Turner and Bell with the ball in space against these guys. I like Martinez on the edge. I like Abdullah on the edge. I like Burkhead just about anywhere, presuming we can get a hat on a hat blocking. Overall, I think we'll be able to move the ball on these guys. I'm just worried about our defense's lack of killer instinct thus far. I think we can score right along with these guys. We just need to figure out a way to get a few stops. This.
  9. I feel pretty confident that we'll move the ball on their D because they are not explosive at all on defense. Like I said before, the Badgers are fortunate they've played teams with no perimeter threats to stretch their D. I also feel we have a special teams advantage in kicking and returns. Wisky's kicker is a freshman who 2-4 on the year, IIRC.
  10. I really feel that Beck is gonna try and stretch then vertically and laterally, which no one has been able to challenge them. I really think we'll see some wildcat and diamond formation, IMO. I also agree with the tempo and I look for Kyler to have a big game.
  11. How has Wisconsin been playing these QBs though? Have they been stacking the box? I've seen Wisky play inferior athleticism as well, none of their opponents had the capability to stretch them vertically, allowing the Badger D to play up to the line of scrimmage.
  12. Don't mind the aggressiveness by Fonzie, we've been missing it.
  13. You are talking about both Wiscy and OSU on the bolded part, correct? I wonder this as well.
  14. It's typical of youngsters, but I'm sure opposing players that have come to Lincoln, some of which have never been to Nebraska at least thought similar things. People prematurely judge places and its unfair to what that place really has to offer.
  15. You guys seem to be on the same thought process as I have been. Many seem to overlook Wisky's D and notice that there is a lack of team speed. Their O seems potent but they have to play defense too. Like I've said before our issues on D stem from discipline and blown assignments, their issues, which haven't been showcased due to who they have played, that can also be said about their O as well.
  16. A little I suppose, but our team has a chance to prove where they stand next week.
  17. Or because it's a free trip.. I'm leaning more toward this reason. Word is dude has had a Clemson 'representative' courting him since his early HS days. Also, abiet a little off OT, I failed to realized that Bullard went to the same HS that produced Florida's own Brandon Spikes.
  18. True, but isn't his job as commish to not let Texas get away with those things and keep all schools in the conference happy and not just the golden child? Not if he's there by design. I wonder if there was more in it for him under the table to be their puppet.
