I presume Gilbert is the lone five-star on our roster, so we'd drop if they redid this today, but it's interesting they have us at 21st.

Here's their ranking for our opponents.

Minnesota     -     56
Colorado     -     35
Northern Illinois     -     119
Louisiana Tech     -     104
Northwestern     -     52
Illinois     -     62
Michigan     -     14
Wisconsin     -     30
Purdue     -     48
Maryland     -     43
Michigan State     -     27
Iowa     -     41

So they're saying we have more talent on our roster than all but one of our opponents - Michigan. And they have Michigan at #14, even though they're one of the favorites to make the playoffs.

Wow, that is really crazy to see it like that (I don't mean your formatting either ha)

This is why the "NU will be lucky to get 5 or 6 wins" fan drives me bonkers.

This team is in a good spot and this years schedule is a wet dream for a coach.

Coaching and development have been an achilles heel for executing and winning.

What is refreshing is we keep attracting good talent despite years of poor results. Rhule is a different coach than Frost and Riley. I think he turns it around and is able to develop players coming from future “teens” class rankings.
