mahomes was a 3 star. these ratings mean jack. he passes the eye test on film. a lot of qb success is putting elite skill players around them and that is my biggest concern right now.

And this is why Nebraska will never have nice things again.  We have fans subtly crapping all over the only legit QB recruit we have brought in since Tommie Frazer.  Similar thing happened with Marlon Lucky.  The bar was set so high for him that he was crapped on by the fans because he didn't perform to their perception of what he should have.  Which was always unrealistic.

Right now, I just ask for competence protecting the football. If he does that, that alone will mean the world for his first season starting.
